I've been waiting so long to write this chapter! Hope you all enjoy :)

'C'mon Ev. You can do this.'

It was the moment Everest was waiting for. She couldn't believe it was happening. Neither could Marshall. Although he wanted children, he was worried that Everest could be the cost. He wasn't going to let that happen.

It was gruesome, and it made Marshall forget the amount of pain that women are put under when giving birth. It makes men look like babies (Please guys don't get triggered at this. This is Marshall's POV).

'One more push...'

He felt like crying but he had to hold it together. Now was the worst time to break into tears. He heard a cry, but it wasn't from Everest. A small baby, with little fingers, little toes. Marshall couldn't do it any longer.

'What's the matter? Why is she crying? She isn't hurt, is she?'

'Calm down Marshall. This is a great sign, because now she is breathing. We'll clean her up, then you can hold her.'

He looked down at Everest, who was smiling. It made him smile too. She was okay. And now they had a baby. Everything was alright.

Everything was alright.

Everest had small beads of sweat on her forehead and she was exhausted. But she was okay. Marshall kissed it gently.

'You can go to sleep now. Everything's okay.'

Marshall smiled as she fell asleep instantly. She's gorgeous when she's sleeping, he thought.
