Marshall and Chase arrived at school, dusting toast crumbs off their jackets. They rushed off to the library. It was empty.
'It's really early Marsh. He probably isn't here yet.' Chase looked around the school. 'Most people aren't here yet, to be honest.'
The two boys walked away to their lockers who, conveniently, were next to each other. As Marshall closed his locker, he collided with a girl with purple hair.
'Sorry about that...'
Everest casually shrugged it off, laughing.
'See, not all guys here are bastards...' said a blonde girl behind her. Skye.
Chase's jaw dropped.
'Stop gawping dude', muttered Marshall to his friend.
'I...I wasn't...' Chase was flushing red. Skye laughed and tossed her hair.
' I do that. I'm Skye, and my rather clumsy sister is Everest.'
'Chase.'
'Marshall'.
'Hey Ev!' called Rubble. 'Oh, you guys have already met each other?'
'Just now.'
'Ah. Hey, why don't we all meet up in the music rooms at lunch? It's quiet and I know we all perform some form of music.'
They all nodded, and the bell rang. Chase looked down at his timetable.
'I have Maths now...'
'Me too!' said Skye.
'Me too'
'And me. Rubble?'
'Nope. Chemistry. See y'all later!'
The rest of the teens walked off to maths, glad to have a new friend.
