Waterlogged (Mob Mentality AU)

Author's Note: I don't really write much underwater stuff. Then again, there's not much to it except for only one character can talk in that situation. I could've made this with Zee accidently blowing up, but I decided that there needs to be some nice stuff within this AU. 

 All these stories are still in the opening stages of the transformation. No one is use to what happened, and everyone's just trying to figure out who's been turned into what and how. Most people don't even know how they turned in the first place. 

 I'll get the pictures of these submitted at a later date. I've got 'em all done, I just need to find the time to submit 'em.

Mini's POV:

 I looked at my tail and gently shook it. My entire body was aching as I rested my arms against the sand. Slowly, I rested my bearded chin against my now scaly arms and let out a yawn. 

 If I didn't watch those turtle eggs, then maybe I wouldn't be in this situation. Maybe I'd have more energy to do things, maybe I would be able to help the others with their problems. Now, I am a problem. 

 A slow, semi-scaly problem with back pain and other shifting problems. 

 Luckily, my arms and legs haven't turned into flippers yet. The bad news is that I think that I'm growing parts of a shell, and it feels like I'm losing the ability to hear with each passing week. 

 How long will it be until I obsess over sea grass? How long will it be until I'm just a turtle swimming around this large tank that Xisuma built to help me and BigB out. 

 My tail twitched slightly as I let out a small yawn. 

 ....

 .............

 Zzzz...zzzzz...

 Zzz....

 Snrk?!

 I jolted awake as a warm hand rested on my shoulder. My tail twitched as I climbed out of the tank and laid against the sand. I wearily looked towards the tank as a pair of eyes stared at me from the blue waters. 

" Oh... Hey B..." I yawned as BigB's webbed hand poked out of the water. The hybrid waved his hand then sunk underwater. I sighed. Even though I can hear B underwater, I can't talk back to him due to not wanting to get salty water down my throat.

 My tail twitched as I sunk underwater. 

 BigB was awkwardly swimming from side-to-side with awkward twitches of his long tail. I waved my arms causing the frills covering him to wave in the water as he turned towards me.

 " Mini! How's the surface doing?" B grinned with his strangely sharp teeth. I floated in the salt water and blinked a couple of times. The water doesn't actually hurt my eyes strangely enough. Then again, I am part turtle now. 

I shrugged my shoulders then pointed to my mouth causing B to blink a few times, " Right, you can't talk underwater... You're holding your breath." he slapped at his head with his hand. 

 " Doc's not much for talking, and X hasn't found a way to connect this tank to that tank in D-SMP." BigB turned to the glass wall of the tank and looked out into the open ocean where other tropical fish, pufferfish, and Drowned swam. No turtles though, weirdly enough. 

 BigB turned around and put his back against the wall; his ear fins lowered as he crossed his arms. The hybrid sighed, " I'm... I'm not having a good time in this body, Mini. I'm stuck underwater, and no one can bring my stuff because it'll all just get waterlogged. I can only keep coral, seaweed, magma blocks, and soul sand blocks with me."

 The hybrid went back to swimming around the tank. My head slowly followed him until he rested at the other side of the tank. 

 " It sucks man. I have to wait for food deliveries from Zee, Tom, or you because I can't be on land anymore." BigB through up his arms causing bubbles to form. I frowned and moved closer to BigB. 

 My tail twitched as I pulled him into a hug and blinked a few more times. I gently patted his head causing him to mumble to himself; I couldn't understand what he was saying though. The two of us were in silence until a muzzle broke through the water causing a big splash. 

 The two of us looked at each other as I slowly swam to the surface and poked my head out of the water. Zee was standing on the sand and took his muzzle out of the water when he noticed B and I emerging. 

 The creeper hybrid stuck his forked tongue out, " Howdy guysssss." he smiled slightly as his ears twitched. I swam to the sandy ledge of the tank and took a deep breath of the refreshing air. I slowly pulled myself onto the land and nodded, " Hey Zee..." I waved.

 BigB poked his head out of the water, " Surface?" he questioned as he sunk back into the water until only the top half of his face was present. Zee looked towards him, " Eh, it'sss not too great. Solidarity's locked himsself within the Property Police station. Netty and Martyn are both trying to get him out... It'ss not pretty." he rubbed the back of his head.

 I frowned, " I didn't even know.... about what was happening... between those three..." I crossed my arms. Zee looked towards me, " Well, Timmy'ss been turned into a fox. Netty's been turned into a rabbit... You can kinda guess what happenss there." 

 BigB poked out of the water once more, " Netty okay?" he questioned as Zee nodded, " She's fine. She doessn't blame Timmy for attacking her in his feral state. After all, none of us are really acting like our usual selves anymore..." 

 Everyone went silent after that. We continued to sit around until Zee started to scratch at the underneath of his muzzle causing his leg to twitch. I laughed slightly causing the creeper to let out an annoyed hiss. 

 " Any news... from the hermits?" I questioned as Zee shook his head, " They're all sssstill trying to figure out how to handle their new bodies man.... None of them have even pondered a way to fix this mess. I haven't either." 

 I let out a sigh and gently laid myself down onto my back. Yes, it was uncomfortable, but I need this stupid shell growth to calm down and rubbing my back against hard materials seems to soothe it for some reason.

 I closed my eyes as Zee and BigB started to talk about random things as I dozed off to the nice, warm rays of the sun. It felt... really good...
