Author's Note: *slowly raises arms* One more story, then I'll get back to work on the oneshot for the Mightyverse. I'm so close to getting there. Anyways, this is a fun little story. Well, I use fun lightly. It's not that fun...

 Anyways enjoy.

 Bdubs's POV:

I waved to Scar, Mumbo, and Grian as I left the upside down. I had some work to do in the overworld, then I needed to go back home to Other World to actually sleep.

When I entered the overworld, however, the sound of a harsh scream damaged my ears. I yelped and shook my head until I ran up the steps of the town hall. I looked across the area from the vantage point of the town hall and spotted a sea of blue on the land. The blue was forming a large circle around something.

I narrowed my eyes and held my hand above them in order to try and see better. At the end of the circle, closer to me, a grey and red figure was trying to fight through the crowd. I took out my communicator, " Overworld, shopping district, HELP!" I typed quickly and took off into the sky in order to get an aerial view of what was happening.

My eyes widened as I spotted what made up the circle. A sea of Joe Hillses. Hills? Does his last name even have a plural version? I shook my head. Don't get distracted Bdubs. I glided down and gasped as the crowd of Joes tried to grab me. Joe is at the center... The main Joe, our Joe, is being mauled by a group of himself.

I looked back as rockets blared and Scar, Mumbo, and Grian appeared. Scar and Mumbo dove down and joined who I assumed was Cleo in the fight against the Joe clones. Grian joined me, " DISTRACT THE CENTER JOES!" I yelled as Grian nodded and swooped downwards.

Grian swirled around the Joes as they tried to grab at his feet. I dove in next and managed to grab Joe's motionless body before the clones could grab me. Joe's legs looked like they were about to fall off if a single feather were to touch them.

Joe let out a shaky, quiet breath as his bruised, blackened eye opened, " ...hmm?" he looked up at me as we flew back towards the town hall. The hermit gave me a soft smile as his eye closed again. He seemed to relax slightly.

I landed at the town hall and looked back towards the mob to find Cleo and Scar casting some spell as Grian and Mumbo rounded the group up. I held Joe close and looked around.

" Well, well, well, so, that's where our original self ended up... 'm the smartest of the clones... Saw right what that zombie was doin' to us." Joe's voice came from behind me. I froze up as I held Joe closer to me. I turned around and stared at a dull version of Joe. Well, not entirely dull in color, his eyes were glowing blue, and a one that was carved into his shoulder was also glowing.

" W-Why do you guys hate J-Joe?" I stuttered as I moved backwards. I should've just went into the Nether. Man, I'm stupid. The clone shrugged, " Ah, we hate him because we all want to be him. Well, except for the drawn out Southern idioms ya know? Ah could go on and on about certain things that really, really infuriate me, but it's best to keep harmin' the original til sundown."

I shook my head. My whole body was shaking as I yelled for the others. Clone Hills quickly threw something and hit me in the throat and chest. I gasped and tried to balance myself, but another horrifyingly accurate throw knocked me to the ground.

The two of us fell to the ground. Joe's body was heavy and limp against my body. I struggled and tried to push him off as gently as I could, " GUYS!" I shouted as loudly as I could. Clone Hills slowly walked towards me and Joe, " As much as I want to get you both out of here. I'll keep with destroying the original..." he sighed as he grabbed Joe by his shirt collar and held him up.

I tried to get up, but the cloned hermit looked towards me, " You try anything, and I'll slit his throat and make his death painful..." he snarled as I froze up. My vines wriggled as I stared at him, " Give me your elytra, now..." he growled as I shook my head.

The man stared at me and was about to speak, but someone quickly tackled him to the ground. Joe, meanwhile, was picked up by a red and yellow blur that was in the air. I looked down towards Cleo to find her casting some spell against the clone causing him to scream.

An primal, uncontrollable scream that shook the very walls of the town hall. I covered my ears and watched as the clone slowly turned to ash and floated into the air. Cleo help up a bottle and collected the magical ash with a sigh.

" I really believed that these clones were good..." Cleo whispered as she held the bottle in her skeletal hand. I stood up and remained silent. No witty remark would make anyone better in this scenario.

Soon, Mumbo and Scar joined us in the Town Hall. The two of them remained silent, and Scar wandered over to me, " You alright?" he questioned in a whisper, " Just sore... " I rubbed my shoulder as I looked up at Grian.

The hermit landed on the ground. Joe's head was rested against Grian's shoulder and breathing weakly. I walked over to the two, " We need to get Joe to someone's base." I frowned as I looked over Joe again. The hermit looked even paler than before.

The rest of us nodded. We decided to take Joe to Grian's hobbit hole due to how it was warm, comfortable, and low to the ground. We moved quickly, and we managed to get Joe to Grian's small home in record time.

((Minor timeskip brought to you by GB!Mighty rubbing at his beard in annoyance))

I sat down next to Joe's bed and stared at the the hermit's body. Joe's body was stable at this point. A majority of his legs were replaced with metal. An oxygen mask was put over his face. I continued to frown at him as I looked over his stitch covered body.

" You're still here?" I turned my head towards Grian as he fixed his sweater, " The others, except Cleo and you, left to go home..." he mumbled tiredly. I stood up, " Just... Just wanted to look over Joe, ya know? H-He lost his legs, after all." I crossed my arms.

Grian nodded, " Yeah.... Iskall did a great amount of work in short notice..." he rubbed his shoulders as his wings twitched. I frowned, " How does Iskall know about robotics?" I questioned as Grian shrugged, " I don't really know." he frowned, " Wish I did."

I nodded at his response as I looked back to Joe, " He's not going to wake up for a while... He's too weak to. Cleo checked his vitals... H-He's lucky to even be alive and not despawning."

I nodded once again as I crossed my arms, " Hmm... A-Are you going to watch him?" I asked as Grian nodded, " For a few hours. Cleo takes morning shift, and another hermit after that."

" Get some rest, Bdubs..." Grian smiled at me as I nodded and tapped the log out button on my communicator. I let out a softer, tireder sigh, " Goodnight, Grian..." I whispered as Grian mouthed the same as I disappeared and went back to Other World.
