Author's Note: Remember when I mentioned the second mycelium related story when I submitted 'Dome-ain'? This is it. I had an idea for a sequel to this called 6 and 4; however, I don't wanna do it in the end.... Just know, if that story did happen, it would involve the H.E.P group instead.

Anyways, I'm currently working on Counter-clockwise... still. I've been getting distracted with story ideas n' such....

 Martyn's POV:

Sometimes I really question what happens on the Hermitcraft server. Most of the time, we get left out of the wars that they get stuck in and other really bizarre things.

Today, however, was a very different day.

It was a normal morning until I saw the purple portal open up in the sky above Netty's treehouse. Quickly, I ran to house in order to investigate what was happening. Hopefully, it wasn't anything too sinister or terrifying.

My tail twitched as I opened the trap door to the base and looked inside. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, yet. I frowned and climbed into the building fully.

Netty and Stampy weren't online, so I had to explore this maze of trees alone. I frowned and slowly walked through the hallway and into the living room. My ears twitched as I heard the sound of squeaking coming from the bathroom. After the squeaking, rushing water started to come out of the faucet slowly.

I tilted my head and moved closer to the door. Underneath the sound of the water, a small, quiet voice was speaking, but I could barely hear what he was saying. What I could hear was a child's voice.

" Quit strugglin'... Jus' let me get the dirt offa you." The voice mumbled as the squeaking continued. I raised my eyebrow. Why would a portal drop children into this world?

Eventually, I turned the doorknob and gently opened the door. Sitting on the bathroom mat, two children were looking into the bathtub. I looked into the tub and stared at the toddler that was trying to climb out of the tub and failing to do so. This child had wings.

" Uh..." I raised my eyebrow as the oldest of the three turned towards me. The kid pulled his mask over his nose and shuffled slightly. Meanwhile, the small creeper hybrid was sneezing and trying to nip at the toddler in the tub.

The older kid looked at the creeper and tapped his head, " Imp... Look..." the kid stared at me. The creeper kit's ears perked up as he stopped trying to nip the toddler and looked towards the older kid then at me.

" Hai..." The creeper's tail wiggled as his ears lowered, " You isssss fwend?" he let out a small hiss as he spoke. I nodded my head, " Yeah, I am... You're in one of my home's..." I told him causing him to tilt his head.

" We sssssowy for entering your home without asssssking..." The child frowned as his ears lowered. I lowered my shoulders in turn, " No, you guys are fine... Though, it seems like you kids need help with the little bird." I mused as I looked towards the toddler in the tub.

When I referenced to the little bird, the little guy let out a small trill and turned towards me and the others. The toddler made a soft chirping noise as he tried to crawl out of the tub and to me, " mi-mooo.... miiiimoooooo!" his wings fluffed up as he babbled.

I sat down in front of the tub and looked towards the two kids, " Want me to help with him?" I questioned causing the kids to nod, " Can you tell me what happened to you three after?"

 Another nod.

My tail twitched as I rubbed the little Grian's cheek causing him to churr and twitch. Carefully, I put the toddler into one of my spare, old shirts causing him to wiggle, " Nio..." he shook his head and pushed away from me.

" I don't want you catching a cold buddy..." I told him as my ears lowered. The little hermit looked down then let out a small grumble, " Can-n..t fwi wif shirt..." he mumbled. I frowned, " I know bud; however, you don't need to fly... I can carry you." I told him causing the toddler to stare at me. Eventually, Grian crawled into my arms and huffed as I put the shirt onto him; I even cut some holes out of the back so his weirdly big wings could be comfortable.

After I was done, I scooped the toddler up and walked down to the living room where I sent the other two kids. Honestly, I still don't know who they were nor what led them to becoming children like Grian, but I'm sure that I'm about to find out.

I looked at the couch and smirked slightly. The eldest of the two was hugging the creeper toddler and occasionally scratching underneath his chin; a low purr escaped from the little guy as he pressed himself further against the boy.

" You doing alright mate?" I asked the currently trapped child as he shrugged, " I guess... Still don't know how I feel about not being an adult...." he mumbled as he tried to swat at some blankets at the far side of the couch.

After a few unsuccessful attempts at swiping the blanket, the kid let out an annoyed grumble and looked back up towards me, " Help?" he questioned as the creeper toddler snuffled and continued to press closer to him with a small shake afterwards.

I nodded my head and grabbed the blanket and gently put it over the two children. I watched the two get comfortable under the blanket before sitting down with Grian now on my lap. The little bird wiggled around before waving his hand towards the blanket, " U-der..." he outstretched his fingers before I let go of him and carefully raised the blanket. With a happy squeak, Grian went under the blankets and curled up with his head against my leg.

My tail twitched as I gave the sleepy toddler a sad smile.

 " What's wrong?"

One of my ears twitched as I looked towards the eldest kid, " Huh, I thought you were asleep already." I tilted my head as the kid shrugged his unoccupied shoulder, " Ehhhhh.... I'm not tired...." he blinked slowly.

" A-Anyways, " I crossed my arms as my tail twitched, " Who are you two, and why are you three children?" I questioned with a heavy frown.

The kid looked up towards the ceiling, " Well, 'm Etho, and this creeper is Impulse... We're hermits." he told me with a nod of his head.

After I nodded back at him, the kid continued his explanation, " The three of us were offered these drinks called Moopop, and it did this to us... Some of our friends started to argue with each other, and Grian got scared..... Now, now we're here." Etho looked down at the snoozing creeper that kept sticking his long, forked tongue in and out as he breathed.

My tail twitched, " So, what should we do now?" I asked Etho as he scratched at his head, " Let the three of us rest for the night then contact the hermits in the morning?" he suggested as I nodded and pressed myself further against the back of the coach, " Sounds good to me." I yawned as Etho slowly began to fall asleep.
