Author's Note: The first spooooky story that I shall be submitting friends. There probably won't be a sequel to it, or maybe there shall... OooooOooo.
I do know that there is potential for one. Especially with how I ended it. The problem is that I already have a lot of things to do still....
Enjoy!

Scar's POV:
I followed Grian through the dark jungle. It felt like the world was closing in on us as I took out one of my crystals. Grian cut through the vines with his sword as his wings flapped.
" Are you sure that you're alright, Grian?" I asked in a low voice. Grian stopped and looked towards me; his tired eyes seemed to glow with the aid of the moonlight. The bird hybrid stopped walking, " I'm fine, Scar... Only I know where the find those wolves..." he spoke in a drained voice.
The two of us stared at each other in the darkness of the server. It was times like these that I wished that Bdubs was online. I don't necessarily like the dark. I held my glowing crystal close to my chest as Grian straightened up.
" Come on...." Grian motioned with his hand, " We need to keep moving or else we'll lose 'em." he sighed as he twitched slightly. Grian grabbed his shoulder and moved it around with an annoyed grumble.
Soon enough, the two of us were back on the trail of the two wolves that had attacked Mumbo, Iskall, and Grian on a previous night. It took us almost all day in order to track these two mammals down, and I regret continuing this late.
Grian didn't seem bothered by it though. In fact, the bird hybrid seemed quite happy to be up and about this late even though his eyes said otherwise.
I continued to follow behind Grian until I stopped once again, " I have another question, Grian." I raised my free hand towards the hermit causing him to turn around with a growl. Grian tapped his foot against the dark leaves, " What is it now?" he questioned as he moved from rubbing his shoulder to rubbing his neck.
" Have you heard from Mumbo and Iskall at all? I tried to message them before we headed out, but I didn't get anything back from them." I questioned as I tightened my grip on my crystal. Grian pushed his glasses up in order to rub at the bridge of his nose.
The bird grumbled, " They're fine Scar." he spoke in a low voice, " They probably went to bed because they were attacked way worse than me." I nodded at him slowly. Grian turned back around and went back to walking.
I frowned at him before going back to following my friend. I shouldn't ask him anything else. I haven't seen Grian this mad since he lost all his inventory that one time. Even then, he seemed to bounce back really quickly.
The wind howled through the trees as the dark clouds rolled over head. If those clouds weren't there, then the moon would've made seeing through the forest way easier. We walked over big branches and crunchy leaves until Grian stopped and pressed his hand against the tree.
I watched as his hand gripped the tree and his nails dug into the bark. Grian let out another growl as his wings flapped aggressively.
" G-Grian?" I raised my hand as his head snapped towards me, " I-I'm fine!" his harsh voice hit my ears and I flinched. Grian's face softened, " S-Sorry Scar... Just not feeling too well." he waved his hand, " L-Let's just get this over with..." he sighed as I nodded silently.
Leaves dances through the air around Grian and me as we cut through the low hanging branches and bushes. Grian's steps were growing slower and slower as he suddenly stopped walking.
Grian shook himself out as he briefly glanced towards me then forward again. The hermit stretched his wings out, " We're here..." he whispered as we walked into an open field. Looming above us was Mumbo's base.
I tilted my head in confusion as the sound of howling echoed through the area.
Grian shivered and shook, and it felt like we were being watched. I took a step back as my bones chilled and my hair stood up. Soon, two giant wolves appeared on either side of Grian, but my feathery friend didn't seem bothered by it at all.
I looked up at the dark clouds as they rolled away until the full moon slowly showed itself. A sharp yell came from Grian and caused my attention to snap back to him.
The hermit had doubled over, " G-Grian?" my voice was shaking as Grian's ears became fuzzy and pointy. Grian breathed heavily, " I-I'm sorry Scar...." he forced out, " T-The moon.. I tried to resist it, but Mumbo and Iskall were pushing me too... W-We'll go back to normal after the sun rises, b-but..."
Grian's bones started to crack and bend as fur pushed through his tearing clothes. The hermit howled as his once feathery tail merged into one long, fluffy one.
" Right now...."
I was too stunned to move as the smaller hermit's face morphed into a muzzle. Grian growled as bloody drool dripped from his muzzle as his paws gripped his muzzle.
" R ight n o w.... Y-You need to r-run... W-We... w-we won't remember this...." Grian looked up at me with pained eyes as the pupils widened and began to glow harshly. Then, the three howled and ran towards me with reckless abandon.
I yelped and quickly turned tail in order to run. I chucked my glowing crystal causing a sharp yelp to come from the wolves. They continued to chase me for miles as I hurried towards my base. If I was smart, I would've brought my elytra with me. Now I'm being chased through the jungle by my three friends that have all been changed into monsters.
I continued to run until my foot hooked against a rogue branch causing me to tumble to the ground. My whole body was aching as I rolled against the ground.
Everything was spinning as I hit a log and blinked. I breathed harshly as my whole body ached. I groaned and shook my head. I... I'm an idiot. Why didn't I just keep my crystal? I could've seen this branch coming!
My back and legs ached as barking came from behind me. I turned my head and froze up as the three large wolves: one black, one brown, and one blond.
The black wolf, Mumbo, approached me with his glowing eyes; his breath was hot against my face as he sniffed against my neck and face. I closed my eyes and expected the worse until the sound of buzzing came from overhead.
I slowly opened my eyes as a sharp pain was drove into my neck followed by the were-Architechs whining and running away into the jungle as something carefully picked me up. My body was burning as I opened my eyes and looked up towards a pair of glowing eyes.
" X-Xisuma?" I stuttered as the bee hybrid nodded at me. X's wings buzzed as he took back off into the sky. X flew through the sky in silence as I wiggled; my whole body was locking up as X glanced at me before flying faster.
We took a shortcut through the Nether and ended up at X's base. I was laid down on the bed. I whimpered as I heard X's voice in my ears, but I couldn't understand what he was saying. It was just garbled nonsense.
I closed my eyes and curled up as I swore I could hear the howling of wolves as I lost consciousness.
