Author's Note: I might write a sequel to this that expands on injuries and such. Not right now though. I have... work ... to do... Yeah, let's put it as work. Also, this story annoyed the hell out of me to write.
Also, I'll be submitting a big project in a couple of days. This project has been on hold since October 3rd 2020. Why haven't I submitted it? Let's just say that the writing style isn't what I usually do...
Anyways, a new Catty part will be coming this Sunday if the weather holds up.
Well that in mind,
Enjoy!

Ren's POV:
Arid Frontier.
I think that's what the location was called. Well, at least that's what I remember that's what Mighty's map said. I put my hand to my head to wipe the sweat off my brow with a small, tired growl.
Despite being a wide open canyon, this place was hotter than the island I use to live on back in Hermitcraft. My tail thrashed, " H-How long are we going to stay here? Don't we have to save the king?"
Mighty looked towards me, " Yeah, I just felt like we needed to do some trainin' here... I've been looking at the map of the area, and there's some enemies that seem a bit stronger in the area we're suppose to be going." she explained as she fixed the scarf around her neck.
Mumbo let out a soft 'hmm', " I understand your concerns mate, but I believe that my healing magic can carry us through." he smiled as he held his staff.
The hybrid nodded at him, " While your magic's gotten better Mumbo, Ren's still so fragile that he can only take two big hits before fainting." Mighty glanced towards me as I frowned. My tail thrashed, " It's not my fault that I got dropped into this world with a fedora and my normal clothes." I grumbled.
Mighty and Mumbo looked at each other, " At least you don't look ridiculous in a penguin onesie." Mumbo muttered as he looked down at his onesie and fixed the sleeves. Even though he was incredibly tall, somehow the sleeves and pant legs still went over his hands and feet.
Thankfully, the humorous part of that had long faded out, and the fear of Mumbo bonking me on the head was also gone too.
My ears twitched as Mighty, Mumbo, and the guy I hadn't introduced myself too started to bicker amongst each other of skills and strengths.
I smiled slightly until a small droplet plunked against my nose causing my fur to stand up. With a small jerk of my head, I looked up towards the sky and tilted my head slightly.
A bunch of large clouds were gathering in the sky.
Strange.
The weather report that we watched this morning said nothing about a storm.
The fur on my ears, tail, and back of my neck stood up as I crossed my arms. My ears lowered as I looked back towards the others.
" Heyyyy guys?" I called out causing all three of them to turn towards me.
" What's wrong, Ren?" Mighty questioned as I pointed up towards the sky as it continued to darken. The other three looked up towards the sky and took a step back.
Mumbo gulped, " U-Uh... There wasn't suppose to be rain today, right?" he questioned as the rest of us shook our heads. Mighty looked towards us, " There isn't suppose to be... Let's head back towards the inn, as fast as possible."
