READ: In this chapter George is referred to as Dream's boyfriend. It's just them joking around, don't take it seriously.

It was a pretty normal morning, the new normal at least. The air was cold and the plants had fresh droplets of condensation on them. It was the first hours in the morning, the most peaceful time of the day. It's too bad Tommy hardly ever saw it.

Tommy was in his shared tent, fast asleep. He shared his tent with a friend, Quackity. Quackity was always one of the first people up though. Not necessarily by choice, but no one technically forced him either.

Tommy snored lightly from inside his sleeping bag. The gentle morning breeze shook his tent, making a relaxing crinkle sound. If Tommy had it his way, he'd never get up.

Footsteps trailed along outside his tent, and the sound of yelling slowly crept up. The yelling wasn't loud enough to wake Tommy at first, but it escalated quickly.

"What do you want me to fucking do? Work until my fucking fingers bleed?!" A familiar voice shouted, making Tommy break out of his sleep, and open his eyes slightly. He could see nothing but a blur as he rubbed his eyes.

"If you have to, then yes! I'm tired of dealing with slacking bitches. I'm carrying this whole group!" The second voice shouted, also familiar to Tommy. Tommy quickly sat up and rubbed his eyes faster. He knew he was in for a hard time if they knew he was still sleeping.

Tommy stayed in his tent until the voices went past. Then he quickly crawled out and scurried away. He ran over to the cabin they kept supplies in. "I'll just act busy" he told himself. He opened the door, with force. Only to find out Dream was already counting supplies.

"Hey Tommy, finally awake?" Dream said without looking away from his counting. Tommy froze but then relaxed. No point in lying, they know him too well. "Yeah...Yeah I was. I'm up now though! I was going to count the supplies." He said and crossed his arms.

Dream shook his head. "You're not even allowed to count supplies, remember what you did last time?"

Tommy looked down, and recalled what happened. He didn't feel bad though, he stood by what he did. "What? Got medicine for Tubbo's sister?" He asked, not sounding amused.

Dream turned to him, wearing his mask over his face. Tommy didn't like how secretive Dream was. No one was allowed to see his face, or know his real name. He wasn't the only one that went by a nickname, but it was still weird. His own sister was forced into his secretive ways. She didn't even get a nickname, because Dream said they should never have to refer to her.

"Tommy, you stole from us. You didn't have permission to take it." Dream was mad, but his voice stayed causal. He didn't want to show his true hate for Tommy.

"She was dying! No one else would help her! You bitch!" Tommy stomped his foot, like that was going to help.

"I know, we told you she couldn't be saved. You're supposed to listen to us Tommy. We know more." Dream stood up and took a break from counting their food stock.

"Why, because you're older? You think you're a big man Dream?! I'm not a fucking child!" Tommy yelled, making Dream put his hand over his mouth.

"Look, I'm willing to forgive you. You just need to accept that you're not in charge of anything." Dream said, looking down at Tommy. Tommy was fairly tall, but Dream was just a bit taller.

Tommy shoved Dream's hand away and rolled his eyes. For once Tommy decided to walk away. He just wanted to get something to eat.

How could the others just sit back and watch a kid die. Tommy didn't even like kids but he knew it wasn't right. Tubbo's younger sister may have died, but at least Tommy knew he tried to help.
