The Bad Lands was a considerably nice base. Tall fences, little shacks to call home, medicine, and even a outhouse. Though it was nice to not have to use the bathroom behind a bush, Tommy had a problem with the people. Specifically Bad, the one with the language problem. Tommy felt like he could barely speak anymore.

"Bloody hell Tubbo, hurry up." Tommy complained as he walked with the group. The group consisting of Tubbo, Lani, Bad, And Puffy. Skeppy was back at the base with Sam. "Language" Bad piped up for the 100th time so far. They were on their way to a pond to fish. They'd take turns though, there wasn't enough fishing rods for each of them. "I'm tired..." Tubbo whined, trying to keep pace with the group. Since living at the Bad Lands, he's been sleeping in his own shack. Apparently it belonged to a guy they called Ant, but he was gone now. Having a shack to himself could of been amazing, if he didn't have separation anxiety. He always shared a tent with either Tommy, or Lani. It was hard to rest on his own, he stayed up worrying about the others. Even though they were doing fine without him.

"We're here!" Bad said happily as they approached the pond. He handed his fishing rod to Tommy. "You can fish with Puffy first. It'll keep your mind off swearing." Bad told him with a little laugh. Tommy took the rod and rolled his eyes. "Alright, language man. I'm bout to catch all these bitches." He spoke confidently, walking to the edge of the pond. "Oh my gosh! Language!" He shook his head and looked at the tubblings. "We can look for berries, And watch for zombies." He smiled at them, knowing at least one of them didn't swear. The other though, had his moments.

Tommy was not the fisherman he thought he'd be. He somehow kept catching the vegetation growing in the pond. Puffy would laugh at him, and he'd swear, then Bad would yell language from wherever he was. Overall though, they were having fun. Tommy was feeling like himself again, no more dizziness.

Tubbo and Lani had made it a game out of hunting berries. Whoever found some first, was officially the better sibling. Tubbo found berries well before Lani, but let her think she found them first. "I win! I'm better!" She celebrated as she helped Bad pick the berries. Tubbo just shrugged. "Aw man, I can't believe this has happened." He pretended to be a fair loser.

As they were getting ready to go tell the others about their find, they heard something. Bad quickly handed the cup of berries to Tubbo. "You two go back to the pond. I'll see what that was." Bad didn't need to tell them twice, they went back to the pond.

"We found some berries." Tubbo mentioned to the two wannabe fishermen. "That's great, I caught a fish." Puffy held in a laugh. "Tommy caught a lily pad if anyone wants to eat that." She snickered. "Hey lady! I'm trying my best!" Tommy defended himself, this was embarrassing. "Where's Bad?" Puffy wondered once she noticed he wasn't with them. "He's checking out a sound." Tubbo told her. Puffy didn't worry yet, she knew Bad was always cautious.

They heard a gunshot, they each jumped a little. "Must have been one of those monsters." Puffy shrugged it off. She wasn't wrong, humans were monsters in certain circumstances. When Bad didn't come back after the shot, she grew worried. He didn't go that far away, it should of took him no time at all to get back to them. "I'll go check on him, you stay here." Puffy put down her things and ran off to where they were previously looking for berries. The only thing she had on her was a machete. The kids stood in silence, giving each other concerned looks. Tubbo could see the fear in Lani's eyes. "Lani it's probably nothing. He probably shot a zombie, and is moving it's body." He tried to come up with a explanation to make her feel better. It worked for a moment, until they heard Puffy's screams peirce the air.

"NOO! BAD! BAD! GET UP!" She wasn't far away at all, they could hear her perfectly. Tommy and Tubbo eyed each other, trying to decide who should go check on her. Lani started crying, so Tommy had to be the one to go see what was happening. So Tubbo could stay with his sister to calm her down.

He wasn't sure where exactly she went, but he was able to follow her cries. Upon seeing the sight, Tommy froze in disbelief. He wondered how everything went to hell so fast. Puffy had Bad propped against a tree, using her jacket to compress a gunshot wound. Puffy was hyperventilating in fright, she knew they weren't alone. They had to get out of there fast, at least the kids had to. She noticed Tommy, and wasted no time giving orders. "Tommy! Take your friends and go back to the camp! Make sure no one is following you, and send Skeppy here!" Tommy didn't move immediately, he was too scared. "Tommy! Listen to me!" Puffy yelled at him loud enough to snap him back.

He made his way back to the pond. Without speaking he grabbed the tubblings, and pulled them along. "We need to get the fuck out of here!" He didn't explain the situation, and they didn't bother to ask. It was clearly something serious, so they all ran back to the Bad Lands.

Skeppy was surprised to say the least. When they showed up out of breath, and clearly in distress. "What's going on?" He came out through the gate and observed the panic on their faces. "Where's Bad and Puffy?" He demanded an answer, because he knew something had to of happened.

"Bad- Oh my fucking god." Tommy was having a hard time processing this. Everything was so peaceful, then suddenly it wasn't. "Bad got shot, You need to go to the pond! There's someone up there, so you'd better hurry!" Tommy advised Skeppy, and walked through the gate with his friends.

Skeppy lost most of the color in his face as he grabbed his gun, and headed to the pond alone. He moved faster than he ever imagined he could move. Especially since he hadn't eaten in a couple days.

When he got there, he saw Puffy still trying to get the bleeding under control. Whoever shot Bad must have taken off right after. He ran to his friends and kneeled down. "Bad! Nonono! This isn't happening!" He looked at Puffy, she was crying helplessly. Bad wasn't really responding to anything she did. She had been trying to get some sort of response. "We need to get him back so you can save him!" Skeppy cried, letting the tears flow freely.

"Skeppy..." Puffy checked Bad's pulse, feeling it get dangerously slow. "I don't think I can..." She choked on her tears as she let the truth out. Skeppy looked at bad, seeing how colorless he was becoming. He grabbed Bad's hand, and squeezed it tightly. He was so cold to touch. "Please...Don't leave me Bad! It's always been you and me, don't leave!" He sobbed, feeling bad give his hand a weak squeeze back.
