Not So Friendly

*4 Months Later*

Yes, time skip because it's been so long since I updated this story. I have no idea where I was going to take this story. :)

"I don't actually remember the last time I had a bubble bath." Lani said in disappointed as she walked along the forest floor.

The BadLand group had decided to explore the land, see what else was out there. They had gotten tents and backpacks from Technoblade, to make the adventuring easier. It was considered payment for helping Phil.

They weren't sure if they were ever going to return to the BadLands, but they let their faith guide them.

"Me neither actually..." Puffy giggled, then looked down at her arms. She was covered in layers of uncleanliness, everyone was. River water could only get you so clean. Especially when most of the rivers were soiled by death.

"I remember it exactly, the last time I bathed. There was candles, and classical music. A woman named... Womania..." Tommy giggled.

"Oh my god, shut up." Skeppy rolled his eyes. He was exhausted from all the walking, he had short legs.

"We'll take a break soon." Sam promised.

"Yay..." Skeppy mumbled, clutching the cloak around his body. He never took it off, it meant too much to him. As long as he had the cloak, he could still feel Bad's comfort.

They walked a little further and then sat down under the trees to rest.

"Should we set up camp here for the night? Looks like a safe spot." Puffy said to Sam, wanting his opinion.

"Yeah, this looks like the best option for tonight. Only a few more hours before the sun sets." Sam agreed.

"Okay kiddies, start setting up the tents please." Puffy always asked the kids to help out. She was slowly building their survival skills. So they could still make it if someday they were on their own.

"On it, Captain!" Tommy saluted like a dork and started putting together the tents with the siblings. They were pretty good at getting the tents up fast.

"I'll go get stuff for the fire." Sam told them before getting up and walking away.

Within an hour the camp was almost completely ready for the night. The kids had the tents up, and they had a very small fire created. Puffy was currently trying to make it bigger.

"Could you guys maybe...snoop around for some wildlife?" Puffy asked the teenage trio.

"I'll put food on the table, since I'm a man." Tommy replied proudly.

Puffy rolled her eyes. "Okay big man, go hunt something with your helpers."

"Hey! It's usually me and Lani that put food on the table!" Tubbo exposed Tommy's lie.

"It's a system really. I see the animal, Lani kills it, and you drag it back here. If I didn't see the animals, we would of starved!" Tommy reminded him.

"Oh my god, just get going before it's dark! And don't go too far, please." Puffy wanted them to learn independence, but also wanted to keep her kids safe.

"We're on it!" Tubbo promised and headed through the woods with the others.

They walked quietly, trying to scope out dinner. They didn't have much luck finding animals, but they kept looking for an hour.
