Bad Lands

*This chapter is back with Tommy and the tubblings.*

Technoblade and Phil walked the group of kids through the woods. The deal was to walk with them, before leaving them on their own. It was the only way to get them to go. Obviously they didn't like being on their own.

Tubbo and Tommy were talking quietly amongst themselves. Mostly about what the plan was, once they were on their own again. They had to accept that Techno wouldn't let them stay. At least not right now.

Their plan was simple, nothing special. They were going to find familiar trees, and hopefully locate their old camp. If they begged enough, maybe Dream would let them come back. It was the only logical option for the three.

"We'll let you go from here." Phil said, stopping with Techno. The teens stopped and looked at the two adults. They were reluctant to be on their own. Tommy noticed the sad expression on Tubbo's face. Then noticed Lani leaning on a tree to relieve her pain. He felt like it was his responsibility to fix this. Tommy liked to think of himself as the leader after all. He tried to quickly think of something to say. Techno and Phil were already slowly walking away. He plotted something, something that he'd feel horrible about.

Tommy walked over to Lani and whispered to her. "Play along with me, alright?" She just stared at him, not really agreeing. Tommy pushed Lani over, making her scream instinctively. Techno spun around and started walking back. Phil trailed closely behind. Tubbo hadn't seen what happened, he was just as confused as them. "She collapsed!" Tommy pulled out his good acting skills. Lani wanted to axe Tommy to death in that moment. She bit her tongue, trying to convince herself everything happens for a reason.

Tubbo quickly helped Lani back up. "What happened? Are you alright?"
Lani nodded her head, ignoring the new pain in her wrist. She clearly tried to catch herself.
"She can't walk very far..." Tommy pointed out, hoping to earn more nights with the adults. Phil looked at Techno. Technoblade just sighed and shook his head. "We can't do much more than this." He attempted to explain the situation to the three friends. Phil cleared his throat. "There's supposed to be a community three hours from here...if you can get to it, it'll be a safe place for you."
Techno nodded in agreement. "yeah I forgot about that...we came across them once. We traded supplies, they seem like okay people." Technoblade assured them. "Three hours?! Lani can't walk!" Tommy shouted, trying to be as dramatic as possible. Lani wanted to speak up, but she just let Tommy do his scene. She'd get her revenge later.

Technoblade and Phil moved aside to whisper. Tommy grinned, thinking he was getting what they wanted. After they came to a conclusion, Techno spoke. "We'll take you there. Lani can sit on the horse, and I'll lead him."
That wasn't exactly what Tommy wanted, but it would do. At least they wouldn't be traveling alone. Tubbo sighed in relief. "Thank you, I don't want to leave my sister behind to be eaten." He said as if that was the only options without the horse. Lani slapped his arm. "You'd just leave me then?! That's not very nice!"
Tommy laughed "woah alright, calm down there. Tubbo she's cross with you."

Technoblade went back and returned with Carl. "Let's get going, I don't want this to take longer than it has to..." He was a bit worried about leaving Anarchy behind. Though it seemed abusive to make a pregnant dog walk for 6 hours. He would of stayed behind, but he didn't trust Phil with the horse.

Technoblade helped Lani get on the horse, and they started walking. With no time to waste they made their way at a fast pace. Occasionally Carl would stop to nibble at the ground. Techno would gently pull his head up, and keep leading him. They would eventually take a break, but not until they made a good distance.
