Y/n P.O.V
Knock! Knock!
"Hey, Lucinda" I call out from the other side of the door, body shaking from nervousness. Wait, why am I nervous. Calm down Y/n. " Y....you in there?"
"One second" I hear her say, followed by the sounds of her fumbling around. Soon, she opens the door and we lock eyes, instantly leaving all words on the tips of our tongues.
After a while of gazing into the eyes of the other, we break the moment by laughing at how awkward we are. "So, hi" I greet.
"Hey" Lucinda greets back between giggles. "What can I do you for?"
"Well, remember yesterday when me and Katelyn were playing volleyball" I say as I scratch the back of my head.
"I recall" Lucinda says sternly as she folds her arms. "You broke your nose and I had to heal you"
"Yeah" I say nervously.
"There was lots of blood and you were crying" Lucinda jokes.
"I remember it slightly differently. But anyway, after you left...." I start.
"Come on" Lucinda says as she moves out of the way of the door, inviting me in.
"I haven't even finished" I say, slightly embarrassed.
"You got hurt again and you want me to heal you, again" Lucinda says with a slight smirk on her lips.
"Yeah" I joke nervously.
"Lie down on the bed" Lucinda says causing my face to go a slight red.
"Lucinda, I don't need that kind of healing" I say, flustered.
Lucinda just stares at me with a slight tint of red on her cheeks and an expression her face that screams, this girl.
"I know that face. That's the face that means, Y/n your so funny" I joke.
"It means quit being a smart ass and yours on the bed" Lucinda says as I walk past her while she shakes her head. "This girl" She mutters under her breath.
"Knew it!" I say.
"What was that?"
"Nothing" I say, avoiding her question as I plant my rear end on her bed. Lucinda sits down behind, pulls my head down, placing it in her lap. I go to speak but the comfort of Lucinda's thighs makes me forget my words as I relax into her.
"Hold still" She says as she places her hands on the sides of my head.
"Trust me, I don't wanna move" I say unconsciously.
Lucinda starts to work her magic, literally. Making me feel so calm and safe. It's been too long since I've really felt her touch so I take the time to indulge in her presence. The touch of her hands. The warmth of the body. The cool breath gently falling on my body.
"I still love you" I say, letting the words escape my lips. I feel Lucinda freeze but not stop her healing. "I'm sorry that I left, but if it's any consolation you were right. After I graduated Scaleswind, I got my dream job. I love it, but I still would have preferred staying with you"
"Y/n, I...." Lucinda starts but I stop her with words of my own.
"I know, you're not ready. I'll give you all the space you need and I won't pressure you into a relationship. But know that whenever you're ready, I'll be waiting" I say as Lucinda finishes up.
"Thank you" Lucinda says silently. "I'll think about it"
"Well, thank you for healing me" I joke, changing the topic.
