Lucinda P.O.V
I wake up feeling a large weight on top of me. It feels so, comfortable. Everything about this just feels comfortable. I slowly open my eyes to see the sun beaming through the window to my right, highlighting the absence of anyone else in the room. All the sleeping bags are empty. The door is shut and the window is open. The sound of nature outside just makes this moment all the more perfect.
I look down and see a familiar set of F/c tipped ears. I know immediately that it's Y/n but I just wanna make sure. I slowly peal the covers off and see the peaceful Meif'wa curled up cuddling my left side. Her arms wrapped around my waist, her legs wrapped around my thighs and her tail wrapped around my left leg. Normally this would be uncomfortable, being confined like this. But for some reason it's not.
A cloud moves out of the way which makes the sun shine that bit brighter. The light falls perfectly on her adorable face. She instinctively buries her face deeper into my chest as to avoid the light as best as possible. I feel her start to quiver slightly as she is only wearing a PJ top and panties. I pull the covers back over us but make sure to leave her head exposed. We both just lye there. Y/n peaceful sleeping and me, admiring her beauty.
I decide to try something. I slowly move my hand up and place it on her head. I start to gently stroke her and I hear a quiet purring in response. Since her whole body is pressed up against me. I feel her purring throughout my whole body. It's an odd sensation. Not at all unpleasant just, unexpected.
Slowly I feel her start to move and her purring stop. She moves her hands so they rest on my chest and looks up at me with tired eyes.
A soft "Morning" escapes her lips.
"Morning" I quietly whisper, being careful not to spook her.
We both lye their bathing in the sunlight and warmth from each other's bodies as she rests her head back down onto my chest.
"Where's everyone else" she whispers, still tired but slowly waking up.
"Not sure. They were all gone when I woke up. I assume they're having breakfast" I say softly.
"When did you wake up?" She softly whispers.
"Don't know. I lost track of time, can't have been more than an hour"
"Can you do that again?" She asks innocently.
"Do what?" I question.
"Stroking me" She quietly requests. I look over and see that my hand is just resting on her head. I start slowly moving my hand and in response, she seems to relax onto me a bit more.
Suddenly we hear a crash down stairs. Y/n pops up and immediately starts scanning the room for something.
She looks back at me with shy eyes and says "We should probably go check out what that was. Someone could be in trouble" She starts to shuffle out of bed when something in me just snaps and I grab her arm.
I instinctively spit out "You don't have to go if you don't want to"
She looks back at me softly and smiles. Suddenly blush starts to grow on her face as she realise everything thats happened, I do the exact same and we both stare at each other nervously.
"We should probably go" I say softly. We both start to get dressed and as we go to leave the room, she looks at me with happiness in her eyes.
We both leave and head down stairs to see Garroth and Dante searching through the kitchen for some breakfast for everyone, while everyone else sits in the living room watching TV.
"What ya doing?" Y/n sings as we both walk into the kitchen.
"Looking for breakfast" Dante says, annoyed by how hungry he is.
"Did you not get any food?" Y/n asks?
"Not enough for how many people there are" Garroth says.
"Well have fun looking" Y/n says as she walks off and sits on the floor of the living room, leaning her back against the couch, which Aphmau, Kawaii-Chan and Katelyn are sitting on. I walk over and sit on the opposite side to Y/n, on the arm rest, next to Katelyn.
"So. How did you sleep?" Katelyn says. Jealousy subtly evident in her voice.
"Look Katelyn I'm sorry about" I say but I'm cut off my Katelyn.
"Look it's not your fault that she cuddled up with you. She a neko, KC says it was instinct for her. I'm not really mad at you. You have nothing to be sorry for" She says bluntly.
So it was just instinct? But she stayed like that even when she woke up. I look over to her and see her smiling away with Aph. I need to talk to her. But for once, I don't know how to. Everything's so confusing but one things for certain. I don't wanna mess this up. What ever this is.
Suddenly Zane comes down stairs and goes straight into the kitchen. Y/n and KC both get up and go into the kitchen as well so me and Laurance follow them.
"Garroth. Can you just let me get some cereal?" Zane argues.
"No baby brother. We have to find food for everyone. It's not fair otherwise"
"And thanks to someone there isn't enough for everyone" Dante buts in.
"Well is there flour?" Zane questions.
"Yes"
"Eggs?"
"Yep"
"And milk?"
"Yeah"
"Then I know what we can all have" Zane says as he and Garroth both look towards Y/n.
"Oh come on. Again?" Y/n says. Garroth looks at her with a desperate eyed expression and soon Y/n gives in. "Fine" She says as she walks over and starts making breakfast.

Woah two chapters within a day. Yeah I just wanted to rap up everything so I can get started on the next big event. As I really need to think of something other than pancakes for everyone to eat.
