"What?" Gene asks with a look of complete disgust and hatred plastered all over his stupid face.
"You can do whatever you want to me. You can make everyone hate. You can make everyone distrust me. But you can never make me hurt her" I say calmly, though on the inside I wanna scream and rip his stupid head off.
Gene looks pissed. He takes a second to breath then looks back at me. "Well you really do care about her. That'll be fun to destroy"
I look at him blankly. Though I make it clear I want him gone.
He turns round and walks off with his hands in his pockets. As he walks off her turns his head and waves while saying "Be seeing you Witch, though you won't be seeing me" The emphasis on Witch makes me shiver slightly.
As soon as he's out of view I run back inside and grab my phone to message Y/n.
Lucinda: Y/n. I just ran into your ex
Y/n: Okay this is gonna make me sound really sleazy but. Which ex?
Lucinda: How many have you had?
Y/n: I've lost count. KC hasn't though. If you really wanna know as her.
Lucinda: Girl you really get around don't you. But anyway it was Gene
Y/n: Did he hurt you?
Y/n: I swear if he did
Lucinda: I'm fine. I promise
Y/n: What did he want?
Lucinda: He wanted me to leave you so that you would come back to him and rejoin the shadow knights. Not 100% on that last part though, he never said it but it was implied
Y/n: When is he gonna get it through his stupid head. I will never get back together
Lucinda: I would hope so, we just started dating. Though we haven't been on a date yet
Y/n: About that
Lucinda: Go on?
Y/n: Do you wanna go on a date?
Lucinda: Definitely yes. Any opportunity to fluster you more. Where are you thinking of going?
Y/n: Well I haven't actually thought that far ahead yet. I wasn't sure if you were gonna say yes so I was focusing on that
Lucinda: You're so adorable
Y/n: LUCINDA!
Lucinda: What I can't help it
Y/n: Tell you what. Tomorrow after school. I'll set everything up
Lucinda: I'll be looking forward to it
Y/n: I gtg do some chores around the house. But you sure you're okay?
