Y/n P.O.V

"You know we're going to have to get up at some point right?" Lucinda says sweetly.

"Zzzzz"

"Y/n saying Z repeatedly does not mean you're asleep" She says jokingly.

"I don't wanna get up" I sleepily mumble.

"Well I'm getting up. And you're not stopping me this time" Lucinda says as she sits up. I keep my arms wrapped around her but she just gets up anyway. Causing me to fall on the floor.

Crash!

"Ouch"

Lucinda laughs and looks down at me. "You alright down there?"

"No. You've killed me" I exaggerate. "I'll never walk again"

"You'll be fine. Now what do you want for breakfast?"

"You?"

"Nice try. Now what do you want?" Lucinda says with a seductive smirk.

"Pancakes?"

"Aren't you sick of pancakes?"

"I think at this point I've just accepted that pancakes are just the only breakfast I'm ever gonna eat. I think went through the five stages of grief, but with pancakes"

"I can't imagine you being mad at pancakes" Lucinda says with her arms crossed and eyebrow raised. Instead of saying anything, I give Lucinda a shrug causing her to laugh. "Come down when you're ready" She sings as she walks out leaving me as a giddy mess on the floor.

After I burn out all my excitement, I get up and quickly get changed in my school uniform. Pack my date clothes into my bag and head downstairs to find Lucinda and her Mom cooking breakfast.

Sniff sniff

"Bacon?" I ask.

"Yep" Lucinda says.

"You're gonna start looking like a pancake unless you get something else in you" Lucinda's Mom jokes. Lucinda holds back a laugh and I give an angry pout.

"Anything I can do to help?" I ask.

"We're almost done here, but could you set the table?" Lucinda's Mom says.

I give her a playfully salute and get right to work. Soon enough me and Lucinda are both sitting down next to each other with three bacon sandwiches in front of us. Lucinda's Mom grabs one and head out the door to get to school, giving us a "Bye" as she does.

"Bye Mom" Lucinda says.

"Bye Mrs Lucinda's Mom" I shout.

"Well I'm gonna go get changed" Lucinda says as she finished her breakfast and stands up, kisses the top of my head as she does. I turn back on my chair and watch her as she walks up the stairs. Suddenly she catches me staring and I turn back quickly, though I can hear a slight bit of laughter from her as she continues upstairs.

After about 30 minutes of lying on top of the sofa waiting, I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I jump off the sofa and head to the stairs to see Lucinda sitting on the bottom step, putting on a pair of shoes. She looks so beautiful. She looks at me and smirks. She gets up and holds out her hand. "Shall we?"
