I am so sorry for any spelling mistakes. I keep forgetting and procrastinating to reread it and fix any errors. And I just really wanted to publish a chapter because I haven't in awhile and I feel very bad/gen

Zuko's POV

"Cool, we'll see you there" Azula says, then there was a bit of a silence until broken by Azula. "Yes he's going." She spoke in a way the you could tell was directed to someone near by. "YAY!" Ty Lee exclaims. Ty Lee must've asked Azula if I was going or not. It seemed the answer pleased her. I chuckle and say, "ok well I'm going to go now, cya later" "bye zuzu" she replied. I hung up and playfully rolled my eyes. I started heading back inside and almost went onto my bed. But I stopped myself. What was I doing. I was slightly dizzy and decided to go out. And I don't mean back into the porch.

I never changed into my pajamas so I just slipped on a jacket and grabbed my key card. I was walking at a pretty fast pace to the elevators and I didn't know why. What was I even doing? I mean it's not like I'm impulsively jumping off a bridge. So why am I so shocked that I'm impulsively leaving a hotel room for a walk? It was all so confusing. Why did I even decide to go to the party? The elevator's doors opened up and I stepped inside.

You should call Azula back and say you changed her mind.

But I didn't change my mind. Not yet Atleast.

Yes you have. It's clear. The reason your running away is because of this party.

I'm not running away.

Then what are you doing

I don't know.

Once I made it to the floor of the Lobby I shut down this argument with myself and tried to change the subject. It barely worked, I was walking fast again but this time you could see the stress on my face. You could tell by the way I walked I had a lot on my mind. I make it outside and walk slower. I look at the stars while walking. They really are pretty. "Zuko!"

I whipped my head around. "Oh, hey Sokka" my voice was shaky, which probably led Sokka to his curiosity, "what's wrong?" He asked. "N-nothing." I stuttered, but it wasn't a bad stutter. It wasn't like a Marinette Dupain-Cheng kind of stutter, more of a stutter that says "I'm hiding something" y'know?

"Zuko." He crossed his arms. "Yup that's my name." My voice was still shaky. "You can tell me what's wrong. I know we just met but I'm here for you." Sokka sofened his gaze. I mentally took a deep breath and asked, "wanna get icecream while we talk?" I could see Sokka's eyes light up. "Yeah!" A little louder and he would've practically been yelling. He coughed and said "I mean- yeah yeah, it's cool nice." This made me giggle. It was cute he was trying to act cool and not excited. "Follow me" I said and started walking. "Oh ok" sokka said, dumbfounded.

Sokka's POV

"Follow me" Zuko said. I was focused on Zuko's giggling that I didn't realize right away. "Oh ok" I was dumbfounded. Was it because I was worried for Zuko? Was it because I'm going to get icecream at nighttime with a cute boy? Was it because this cute boy had a cute giggle? I guess I'll never know. I hadn't realized that I was just standing, and not following Zuko. But Zuko did, he turned around and grabbed my hand. I blushed at the thought of holding his hand, which led to a similar thought that was holding his hand as boyfriends. As in holding hands while we're on a nice stroll that is leading us to a cafe where one of our many dates would take place. I shake the thought out of my head. You're being ridiculous Sokka. Zuko was being very gentle. He wasn't holding my hand to tight and he wasn't pulling me to hard. It was nice.

We made it to an early icecream place that had outside seating and the inside was where the workers were and where they scooped the icecream. that had quite a few people there. There was a family of four, it seemed as though they were waiting for one more icecream. They was a dog eating some icecream that looked to be vanilla, thankfully, and topped with peanut butter. The owner had her own icecream too. There was a couple that were ordering their icecream. And there was a group of friends that seemed to be middle schoolers.

The family got the icecream they were waiting for and started leaving. The worker that handed them their icecream then said, "next please!" Zuko and I started walking over. "Can I have chocolate and vanilla soft served please?" Zuko politely asked "yep! And you?" The girl turned to look at me. I paused for a minute then saw a sign that had all their soft served flavors. And boy were there a lot. The one that caught my eye though, was bubblegum. "Bubblegum soft served please!" I sad excitedly. "Coming right up, the price will be twelve dollars" said the girl. I reach for my pocket to get my wallet but I hear Zuko speak, "don't worry sokka, I got it covered" he pulls out 13 dollars out of his wallet. "But Zu-" I try to stop him but get interrupted. "Here are your ice creams!" The girl hands us our ice creams, Zuko's being the chocolate and vanilla soft served and mine is the bubblegum soft served. Zuko hands the girl 12 dollars and puts one in the tip jar. The girl watched as he put the dollar in the jar, "thank you! Have a nice day" the girl says. "You too!" Me and Zuko spoke at the same time.

We start heading over to a park the was nearby. The park wasn't the playground type park, it was the type park that was similar to the one in front of the Eiffel Tower. It was long and had a field of grass, line with trees. But in between those trees were benches, and fairy lights were hanging from tree to tree. It was very beautiful during the night, and there were many stars out. It was a romantic sight. The whole park was empty.

Zuko's POV

"I CANT BELIEVE STRAWBERRY SOFT SERVED ICECREAM EXISTS!" Sokka exclaims making me chuckle. "Not to mention there aren't any real bubblegum chunks" I point out "you're right! I hate those chunks. I want to yell at them to leave me alone and let me enjoy my icecream." Sokka says, his rambling and weird metaphors makes me blush. "At first they are nice but eventually the get annoying. And it's not only bubblegum, it could also be strawberry and many others with chunks" I state, holding back my giggles. "EXACTLY, finally someone who understands me." Sokka says while throwing his hands in the air to express his feelings. We walk over to one of the park benches and sit down. We both start eating our icecream while chatting. "This is so good! How'd you know about this place?" Sokka asked. "I came to this area before for a meet and greet." I replied. "Meet and greet? Are you famous?" Sokka asks in a joking tone. "Yeah" I reply. He goes from lightly chuckling to freezing in place. "How famous??" He asks. His question made no grammatical sense but I rolled with it. "From YouTube." Sokka stays silent, as if he waits for me to continue. "I kinda have a YouTube channel, that's the whole reason I'm here." I say hesitatantly. "That's so cool! I've always thought about being a gaming youtuber." He states "really? I've wanted to be one but my dad never allowed it." I look at him. "Why? Being a youtuber is so cool!" He says while keeping his icecream from dripping. "He has his reasons, even is there reasons are trashy." This makes him laugh. After he calmed down he seemed a tad bit shocked. "Hey wait! We got wayy off topic!" He said a bit upset but not a lot. "What even was the topic to begin with? Strawberry soft-served?" I say while chuckling. He gives me an 'are-you-serious' look. "What?" I question. "The topic was why you seemed so sad at the hotel!" He says, "ohh. Yeah. No. That doesn't matter. I prefer strawberry soft-served." I say and he sighs. "You literally said, 'let's get icecream WHILE WE TALK." He got louder as he talked. "I never specified what we were going to talk about." Maybe I was avoiding this conversation. "Well too bad, cause we are going to talk about it." He insisted. I sigh.

"Well thats the thing. I don't actually know what's wrong. I absolutely do not like parties. But I just got off a call with Azula and told her I'd come. I don't even know why. I don't do parties. I don't know how to be social at a party, so I just stick by my sister the whole time. But eventually she ditches me and I'm stuck alone. In a crowd of people. While having no social skills. It's horrible. So once I got off the phone call, everything started spinning. I was dizzy for no reason. And I needed some fresh air, but I could've just stayed outside on the porch. Why didn't I? Why did I feel the need to go outside of the hotel completely. I just, I- I don't know." I stuttered on the "I don't know" at the end. "Well if you don't want to go to the party then don't go. And if you do then I promise I'll stick by your side no matter what. Sure for now we might just be strangers to one another but we bonded today. And I know you felt that bond too." He replied, and he was right. I did feel that bond. "I did. We became friends do easily it feels we've known eachother for months, years even." I responded. "I'm not the best at helping someone vent, but I do know music helps. Want to listen to some music?" Sokka asks. "Y'know what. Sure." I answer. He reaches into his pocket and brings out his pair of earbuds. He plugs them into his phone and gives me the right earbud. I take it and place it into my ear while he places the left one into his left ear. I notice him tapping around on his phone and then fly me to the moon by annapantsu. Before I knew it sokka was asleep and his head resting on my shoulder. And I was suddenly falling asleep aswell.
