Lunch

Zuko's POV

     Once the boy that was waving to my sister saw me, he looked shocked. That's Weird. "Don't worry that's not the bi boy." Azula whispered to me. I wasn't worried at all, my gaydar wasn't going off so I kind of already knew that.

     "Hey Azula. Do you think I can speak to you and Toph privately. Please." The boy nervously said. As the trio walks a bit away from the group I turn to Ty Lee, "I wonder what thats all about-" I was interrupted by Ty Lee's facial expression. Her smile was crooked, and I swear I could see her sweat. Nothing was wrong with her, but she was keeping something from me. Now that Azula is gone, I can get whatever I want to know out of Ty Lee. Ty Lee is the absolute worst at Lying. "Ty Lee..." I said in a sly tone. I could tell she was getting even more nervous, she probably knows what I'm going to ask her. "What are you hiding from m-" "we're Back!" Azula interrupts me. Ty Lee let out a huge sigh of relief. Azula knew exactly what I was going to try to do, that's why she came back so quickly. "Hi! It's nice to meet you, I'm Aang!" The boy says cheerfully. "And I'm Toph." The girl says less cheerfully. But not in a bad way. It just seemed the boy was a very positive person. The girl? Not so much. "It's nice to meet you too, I'm Zuko." I say in a kind tone. Aang gives me a smile that could light up a whole room. "Isn't your roommate supposed to be here?" Toph asks. "Ah, he went somewhere but he'll be back. To be honest it's better when he's not here." My remark made the group laugh.

     "My girlfriend and her brother went to the bathroom, they should be here any second now." Aang states. "Should we wait for them to get food?" Azula asks. "Of course we should." Aang blurts out. From what I've analyzed about Azula's friends so far is that Toph has a good sense of humor and can be blunt. While Aang is the type who will wait for you when you need to tie your shoes, even if the rest of the group doesn't.

     When Jet got back to the table he introduced himself. "Oh look here's the rest of the group" Azula says. I lift my head up and my eyes immediately lock with a pair of blue eyes.

Sokka's POV

     Once I get to the table I hear Azula notify everyone about me and Katara. Who I'm assuming to be Azula's brother, lifts his head up and our eyes meet.

But he's-

He's the barista

But, he is also Azula's brother?

But didn't we describe him to her. She would've known it was him-

She does know. She knows. She knew her brother was my crush. That's why they laughed the other day. That's why Azula and Ty Lee were so suspicious.

     "H-hi it's nice to meet y-you." Dammit Sokka. Stop stuttering like an idiot. Everybody was already sitting down. So me and Katara preceded to sit down, but Katara sat next to the roommate, forcing me to sit next to the cute Barista. Or Azula's brother. What should I call him? What's his name? "It's nice to meet you too. My name is Zuko." Well I guess that answers my question.

     Zuko already started conversing with Toph. Seemed like they were making quick friends. I wanted to talk to Zuko but I was forced to talk to his roommate. "So uh. What's your name." I said in a tone that should make him know I have no interest in him. "Jet." He states. He's just looking at me now. Does he even know social skills? "Do you play video games." I say in an annoyed tone. Because at this point, I'm annoyed. "Nope" he pops the p. "Then what are you doing here" I say kind of rude. But in response he just laughs. Being so distracted by this idiot, I didn't notice that Toph and Zuko slowly stopped their conversation. "You play video games?" Zuko asks.

     A wave of relief hits me. I don't know wether it's because I can stop talking to Jet, or because I get to talk to Zuko. It might even be because of his eyes. His eyes calmed me down so much. They made me ignore all my problems. And not in the bad kind of way. His eyes were so pretty.

     "Yeah! You do too?" I ask more cheerfully than I meant. He nods but a smile appears on his face. It was a small and feint smile but it was all I needed to melt. "What's your favorite?" He asks.

     And then we spent the whole lunch ranting about video games.
