The start of the convention

Zuko's POV

I groan as I realize today is the day I have to go to that stupid con. Why did I decide to go. My roommate walks to my room and stands in the doorway. Then he decided to throw a pillow at me. "Hey! What the hell was that for." I exclaim while tossing the pillow onto the floor. "Get up. Also your room is a mess. You should clean your room." He states. "What do you mean? I cleaned it last night. Right before I went to bed." I say with an annoyed tone. "There is a pillow on the floor" Jet points to the pillow. "Are you serious?!" I say while I reposition myself from lying down to sitting up. Jet looks at me and rolls his eye while walking away. "Ughhhh. You're so annoying!" I shout while realizing how much we sound like siblings.

I get out of my bed and walk over to the door to close it. I then preceded to walk to the pillow on the floor. I pick up the pillow and I make my way to Jet's room. I then throw pillow on his floor. Now his room is the 'messy' one. I make my way to the bathroom and brush my teeth. Once I got to the kitchen I notice Jet is making scrambled eggs. "Gosh you're giving off the vibe of someone who has a bad hangover." Jet says with pride thinking he was funny. "Shut up" I suggest.

     The car ride to the convention was silent but I honestly preferred it that way. I was listening to music with my earbuds in and looked out the window, while Jet drived. Even though it was my car, I let him drive. I was pretty bored to be honest. Jet can be boring a lot, but this time I think it might've just been the drive.

     Once we got to the convention, I started heading to different areas. Jet followed me the whole time. I now realize that he has no interest in video games, and just wants to find a significant other. Whatever.

Sokka's POV

     I woke up annoyed because my stupid alarm clock decided to go off. I never even set my alarm clock unless today was the day of the con....

wait

     TODAY IS THE DAY OF THE CON! I jump out of bed and start making my way to the bathroom. Once I'm done brushing my teeth I notice I got a text.

The Gaang but more

Aang: Katara and sokka we r outside of your apartment building

Katara: who's car are we using? So we know what car to look for

Azula: Mine 😽

I'll be out soon! 😁

     On my way to the living room/kitchen area I notice the front door close. Katara always wakes up really early, so she probably already got ready, and ate breakfast. I grab a piece of bread and hold it in my mouth. Remember Sokka, if Katara asks, this is a piece of toast. If your sister knew all you had was piece of bread for breakfast she'll force you to go back and make some toast. Even though it's basically the same thing.

     I ran out of the apartment with my "toast" in my mouth. I was so excited that I was running really  fast and already passed Katara. "Sokka!" I hear Katara yell and start running as well. We ran all the way from our apartment to Azula's car. I grabbed the bread out of my mouth and held it in my left hand to catch my breath. While panting, me and Katara got into the car. Toph and Aang were in the back, Azula was driving, and Ty Lee was in shotgun. So me and my sister sat in the middle row.

     The car ride was so fun. We had music on and it was blasting loud, the windows were down, and we were all singing. It was hilarious and fun. The car ride was pretty long but felt pretty short considering how much fun we were having. By the time the road trip was over I already finished my piece of bread (obviously). It took awhile to find a good parking spot, considering how many people are here.

Katara's POV

     After we got out of the car I start looking around. I notice a pair of boys my age walking into a building which looked like it had something to do with the convention. One of the boys was cute, brown fluffy hair, and caramel skin. The other one had black hair..... a burn mark on his eye-

oh.

Oh.

     That's the Barista. Is he dating the brunette? No. Maybe they are siblings....cousins? No, that's not it. They don't looking anything alike. Maybe they are just friends or roommates...? Anything besides boyfriends, please. Sokka might finally find someone. Sure he fell in love easily, but so far none of his relationships ended well. His first girlfriend, Yue, moved to a town called Moonville. His second, Suki, wanted to follow her dreams, but in order for
her to do that and date Sokka, Sokka needed to run away with her. But my brother didn't want to leave me, his sister, or his friends. He liked his life the way it is.

     Remember Katara how the other day when the barista rejected the blonde? He said she wasn't his type, if he was dating someone he would've just said he was taken.

Phew.

Just don't tell Sokka about this. He overthinks everything and will completely give up on his little crush. "Katara, whatcha looking at?" I snap back in to reality and see sokka. "Oh uh, nothing." I notice Aang look over in my direction. Fortunately by the time Sokka asked me his question the pair of boys were long gone. "Ok!" Sokka says in his usual positive tone. Sokka, Toph, Azula, and Ty Lee started walking towards the same building. I sigh, but before I start walking someone grabs my hand. I turn around to see Aang with a worried expression. "Aang? What's wrong?" I ask and he looks down at the ground. "I was about to ask you the same thing." He mumbled. "What do you mean?" I tilt my head. He looks up at me and says, "you didn't see nothing, did you?" I should've excepted this, Aang knows me to well. "I saw that guy Sokka likes." I avert my eyes. "Why is that a bad thing?" He let's go off my hand and puts his hand by his side. "He was walking with another boy." I look back at Aang. Aang gives me a reassuring smile. Just like my mom would. It's so calming and makes me feel so... at home. "I'm sure that it might've been just a friend or a roommate." A smile forms on my face. "Yeah... you're probably right." I say. We catch up to the rest of the group while holding hands.

Once we enter the building I hear Azula say, "me and Ty Lee are going to see my brother and his roommate." as she puts her phone in her pocket. "Why don't we come with you?" Aang mentions. "Well uh. How about we meet for lunch? We'll bring her brother. And his roommate, unfortunately." Ty Lee responded with. "What's wrong with his roommate?" Toph asks. "He's annoying. Very. Annoying." Azula mumbles. "What time are we going to meet up? And where?" Sokka asks. "Well how about 12:00? It's currently 11:00." I respond with. "What about my second question." Sokka says firmly. "The food court, idiot. We're meeting up, for lunch." Azula emphasized 'for Lunch'. My brother pouts at being called an idiot. "We'll be by the Minecraft nerds in case you need anything." Ty Lee lets the group know. So We split up, Azula and Ty Lee headed towards the right, and we headed towards the left.
