"Wow..." I look at Obi-Wan and he is stunned. "Welcome to my home. We should head inside, my father will be expecting us." I link my arm with his and we walk in. "How are you feeling darling?" I look up at him. "A little on edge but I'll survive. This way to the throne room." I drag him and we get to the door.

Being the gentleman he is, opens the door and everyone looks right at us. "State your name and business." Same old dad. "I'm Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi." Obi bows and all eyes are on me. "I am Jedi Master Y/N Y/L/N-Kenobi, your majesties. We were sent as protection for your highnesses." Everyone whispers at the mention of their eldest princess had returned and the fact you're married. My father stands up astounded and my mom grabs her skirts while coming down and hugs me tight. "Oh my baby! You're home! You have no idea how much we have missed you." I smile and hug her tight.

"Hello mother, I've missed you so much." We pull away and I look up at my father. "Papa? Say something please." He comes down and just looks at me. "You look so much like your mother did at your age." "Really?" He nodded. "You have her beautiful long brown hair and a kind smile." My mom kisses his cheek. "Awe! Asher you softie." They share a kiss and look back at me.

"I have no doubt that is part of what made Master Kenobi fall in love with you. The women in this family are truly beauties." Obi-wan comes up and wraps his arms around your waist. "And crazy-smart as well your majesty." You kiss Obi. "Thanks, Love." You look over at your parents and start to cry a bit and grab both your parent's hands.

"I'm so sorry that I never reached out over the years and the time I finally come home is under such terrible circumstances." They both embrace you. "Everything is fine now, your home and that is all that matters to us." My mom walks over to Obi who is a few feet away and chats with him and you look to your dad and smile. "I see you grew a beard, how do mom and Y/S/N like it?" You put my hand on his cheek and he laughs. "Your mother loves it but I can't say the same for your sister." I laugh. "Well, I think you look absolutely handsome Papa. In case you haven't noticed, I love a man with a beard." He throws his head back laughing.

"I was really worried when the council had asked me to come home. I wasn't sure that you or mom would ever wanna see me again." He just hugs you tightly. "That's not true princess." "But you're so firm in our laws that you did everything to keep me from going with Master Yoda." He kisses your head. "We were just scared, when we discovered you were force-sensitive just like your uncle, we had feared for the worst." "What do you mean?" Your mother and Obi come over. "Why don't we all go somewhere and talk privately, there's a lot we need to discuss."

You grab Obi's hand and we follow behind my parents. "Something's bothering you, darling." "I just hope my mom didn't say anything embarrassing." he smiles. "Not at all. She just asked me questions and told me a few stories of you before you arrived at the temple." my cheeks flush with pink. "Don't worry princess, she didn't tell me anything embarrassing." I sigh in relief. We continue to my dad's study.

You look around the room and see nothing has changed from when you had done your studies here. "Please have a seat." We all take a seat on the chairs and Obi's arm goes around my waist. "So what is this about an uncle that I never knew about?" My parents look at each other than at Obi-Wan. "You know him, Master Kenobi was his Padawan." You and Obi-wan look at each other. "You mean to tell me that Master Qui-Gonn, who was like a father to me and My Husband's late master, is my uncle?" Your parent's nod.

"Qui-Gon was my twin brother." We both look at my mom. "What?! Why am I just hearing about this now? And how are you not force sensitive?" She looks at me. "As you know, I married into royalty." You nod for your mom to continue. "I don't remember much of my childhood with Qui-Gonn since he left when we were very young. As for being force-sensitive, I wasn't."

Obi-Wan scoots closer to the edge of his seat and looks at my mom. "So when you had discovered that Y/N/N was force sensitive like Qui-gon, you worried that the council would take her." Your mother nods. "We always knew that she was destined for wonderful and great things but this scared us because when the news got to us that my brother had died at the hands of a Sith Lord, we feared the worst for Y/N and kept her hidden from the council as long as we could." I stand up and pace.

"This is a lot to take in. I still don't understand why you tried to keep me locked up? Being a Jedi is the best thing that could have happened to me, I'm making a difference in a broken galaxy." She stands up and comes to me. "I can tell how much it means to you, Master Yoda kept us updated on your training. I always meant to tell you about him but you were too young and then you left for the order." I look at them. "For years, I thought that I was a disappointment to you." I tear up and my father puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Don't for once ever think that you're a disappointment to me and your mother, that's the exact opposite." "Really?" My mom comes over. "You're doing what you were truly meant to do and it was wrong of us to try to keep you away from it." I glance back to Obi-Wan and he mouths 'I told you so' and I smirk at him. "Honey we are so Damn proud of the wonderful, brave, and smart women you have grown into and if I heard correctly, you're the youngest to sit on the Jedi council in years." I nod. "I am, Master Windu taught me really well." Obi speaks up. "A Jedi master at 23 and member of the Jedi council at age 25 is a rare combination." My parents look at each other impressed. "We couldn't be more proud is you sweetheart. You're truly doing what the force intended for you."

After dinner Obi-wan heads into our room to look over some things while I visit with my younger sister for a bit. When I return, I find him sitting at the desk and I stand behind him and kiss his cheek, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. "Thank you, Ben." He looks over at me. "What did I do?" He takes your hand and guides you around the chair and to his lap.

"You encouraged me to come back and face my parents, if I hadn't come, then I would have never fixed our broken relationship. You truly are my knight in shining armor." "I only want the best for my darling wife, she deserves the whole world and part of that means fixing her relationship with her family." "What did I ever do to deserve you?" He kisses you. "It's actually the other way around." You both wrap your arms around each other and he starts guiding you causing you to walk backwards towards the bed after a long two days and even longer next few days to come.

The rest of your time home was for the most part calm. Well, except for the negotiations, they could have gone a lot smoother but if you have learned anything as a Jedi, it is that things almost never go the way you want or expect them to. There were times that you almost pulled out your saber but knowing Obi-Wan would do whatever was necessary to protect you and your family, made you feel calm and level headed.

You loved spending time with your family and even got to show them everything you have learned and telling stories of your adventures with Your master and solo missions, which your father loved hearing all about, you told them about Padmè, Anakin, Ahsoka, and even your Padawan Deliah. But most of all, you enjoyed being with your husband the most. Just getting to be a normal couple was the best feeling in the entire world and you both loved it. No Jedi Order, no Clone Wars, no constantly worrying about each other, made your love and bond stronger in a way that you never could have imagined.
