Mark and Lucas were at the park. Jeno and Jaemin were talking to Renjun. Doyoung was at Taeil's bookstore. Chenle was at the nearest convenience store buying a bunch of pens because he didn't have any on him and the person he would usually ask for a pen was currently occupied with his soulmates. While he was at the convenience store, he decided to buy some snacks as well so he walked around the small store in search of many snacks.

He looked over at the cash register and saw that no one was there, he wondered where the cashier had gone but pushed the thought aside since it wasn't important and happened often. He walked over to the candy section and he received a text message. He pulled his phone out of his pocket to check who had messaged him and saw Haechan's name pop up on the screen.

He bumped into a hard surface and had dropped his phone. He knew it wasn't a wall because he was in the candy section so he automatically apologized to whoever he bumped into. He was so busy rubbing his forehead that he didn't notice that the stranger had picked up his phone. The stranger stayed silent and handed Chenle's phone back to him.

"Thank you." Chenle beamed and looked up at the person who had done the kind gesture.

His smile fell and he stared at the emotionless face of his soulmate. Chenle would have walked away but something about Jisung's eyes made him stay glued to his spot. Chenle remembered the words of encouragement he had told himself at the park, the day Jisung ran away from him. I want answers, you atleast owe me an explanation.

Jisung had already turned around but before he could leave the store, Chenle grabbed his arm. The moment Chenle's hand made contact with Jisung's exposed arm, sparks ran through both their bodies. Chenle's body felt numb and overwhelmed with the sensations but he refused to let go of Jisung's arm.

Jisung, on the other hand, was exhilarated to have Chenle so close to him and holding him back. He was so happy but felt so guilty.

"I want answers. You owe me that much, Park Jisung." Chenle commanded.

Jisung turned around to look at Chenle and saw the determination and serious look in his eyes. Jisung just nodded.

"Okay, let me buy my pens first because I lost all of mine." Chenle commented and held on to Jisung's wrist as he walked towards the cash register. Nobody was at the cash register and Chenle didn't feel like waiting so he did something he always did when the cashier stepped out.

He took a piece of paper and wrote down all the items he was buying, Jisung just watched as Chenle signed his name on the piece of paper and drew a small smile. He pulled out his wallet and placed a hundred dollar bill under the note. Chenle turned around, waved at the security camera and shouted 'thank you.'

"Isn't this illegal?" Jisung finally spoke as the two were leaving the shop.

"Yes, but I know the owner. I helped him buy this shop actually and I paid for the pens, he'll give me the change next time I come." Chenle smiled and Jisung chuckled at the sight of Chenle's cheeky smile.

"You do this a lot?" Jisung asked.

"No, I only do that here because he let's me. We're friends, he trusts me and I would never steal from him." Chenle defended himself. Jisung nodded and smiled to himself as Chenle dragged him away to who knows where.

"Where are we going?" Jisung questioned.

"There's this really beautiful secret spot at the park near campus. We're going there." Chenle exclaimed.

"If it's a secret spot, why are you taking me there?" Jisung wondered.

Chenle thought about Jisung's question for a little but there was only one response he could think of.
