A week has gone by since Renjun spoke to Jeno and Jaemin and things between the three were going surprisingly well. Renjun had spent the entire week with Jeno and Jaemin, the only words he had exchanged with Haechan and Chenle were simple good mornings and good nights. Renjun did spend an afternoon with Chenle but it didn't really count since Renjun was with his soulmates and Chenle was with his soulmate. Renjun loved the time he spent with Jeno and Jaemin. He loved how different they were from each other and themselves.

Jeno was so caring and loving, he would ask about his day, his hobbies, his studies, his friends and more. Jaemin was so comfortable and physical, he loved holding Renjun's hand, messing with his hair, hugging him and giving him kisses (but never on the lips.) Renjun felt so at ease with them, he felt loved and cared for. He couldn't believe that he had spent so much time avoiding this, these feelings and these amazing people.

A week has gone by since Chenle asked Jisung out and the two have been happily dating for a week. Chenle spent day and night with Jisung, he would wake up early to meet up with him and he would come home super late. He was happily in a relationship and he couldn't believe that after all this time, he was finally dating Park Jisung. The guy he was crushing on for the longest time, who ended up being his soulmate.

Isn't life great! Chenle thought to himself every morning, every night and every time he saw Jisung smile. He loved everything about his boyfriend, the small gifts Jisung would give him, the time Jisung made for him and he loved how easy it was to smile around him. Chenle had even spent time with some of Jisung's friends, Mark, Jeno and Jaemin. Jeno and Jaemin brought Renjun and the six of them spent the afternoon together, laughing and smiling.

Haechan spent that week alone, he would pretend to have been spending the day with Jungwoo, Taeil, Taeyong or Johnny. Those were lies, the truth was that he had been spending his days locked in his room. Haechan never struggled with putting up a false front, he could smile for days and no one would ever question if it was forced but for some reason, his smile had been faltering lately.

He felt lonely, Renjun and Chenle were barely home and this left the place completely silent. Haechan would lay on his bed and cry. Sometimes, he would make his way over to the living room, watch a sad movie and cry some more. He sat on his shower floor and sob silently. One time, he went up on to the roof and cried as he watched the sunset, that was his favorite day of the week.

That day, as he stared at the sunset and cried tears of agony, loneliness, emptiness and trauma, he realized that there was a way to fix it. Haechan always dreamed of this day. The day that his soulmate would waltz into his life and make all those sad tears nothing but distant memories. The fact that his soulmate hated him had been a big part of the reason why he had been slipping up.

He didn't care if Mark hated him, not anymore, because Haechan had decided to make Mark Lee fall in love with him. The canadian had no idea what was in store for him because Haechan had never felt worse than he did this week and he was going to make sure he never felt like this again. That day, as he watched the sunset with tears in his eyes he swore that the next time he sat on the roof and watched the sunset, he would be sitting next to Mark Lee.

Haechan was in front of the Music and Arts building, he was waiting for Mark to walk out of the building's front doors. When he spotted Mark, he couldn't help but smile at his soulmate. Mark was truly gorgeous in Haechan's eyes and after avoiding him for a week, he realized that just the sight of Mark could bring a smile to his face.

"Hey, Mark!" Haechan called out.

Mark was too busy shoving his clothes into his bag to look up so he responded, "Yo man, what's up?"

Haechan's heart skipped a beat after hearing Mark's voice after such a long time. I love your voice. Haechan thought to himself.

"I need to talk to you about something important." Haechan whispered.

They were walking side by side and Mark still hadn't had time to look up at him, he had no idea who he was talking to.

"Yeah, sure. What's-" Mark finally looked over and locked eyes with Haechan.

"It's about us." Haechan added.

Mark rolled his eyes and scoffed, he swung his bag over his shoulder and attempted to walk away from him. Haechan couldn't let Mark walk away from him so he took hold of Mark's wrist and stopped him in his tracks.

"Please, don't walk away from me." Haechan's voice quivered. He looked down at his feet as he spoke, he didn't want Mark to see the tears in his eyes.

Mark wasn't annoyed by Haechan's actions but he ripped his wrist out of Haechan's hold.

"You get 5 minutes." Mark spat.

Mark's voice was filled with annoyance but he had still given in to Haechan's request because of his touch, his words and his voice. Mark felt it, when Haechan had first called out his name. A shiver ran up his spine as a stranger called out his name but he chose to ignore it. He ignored the tingles the stranger's honey-like voice caused to erupt in his body. He tried to ignore the sparks that surged his body as Haechan's fingers slipped around his wrist but his undoing was Haechan's quivering voice.

Haechan had begged him not to walk away with the most heartbreaking quiver and Mark couldn't bring himself to walk away. Mark could try and convince himself that his feelings for Haechan were nonexistent but the opposite was true. Mark knew that he had feelings for the radiating teddy bear but his mother's words still ran through his mind.
