The Crystal Chamber

We had finally gotten to Reiss's estate, Armin and I stopped the wagon and hopped off, we tied up the horses and walked into the chapel. It was dark, we looked around, there was nothing there until Hange found a trap door behind the altar. We didn't know where it led, I was sure it led somewhere, probably the place we had to go, the place where Eren and Historia were.

"We're going to need some kind of plan going in there," Captain Levi said, Hange nodded, "They outnumber us, but they don't have the same experience that we do," Hange said, "We're going to need some kind of cover," they continued, Hange looked around and found barrels and sacks of gunpowder, "we'll use these for cover, making them explode will give us a good smokescreen, Levi, Mikasa and Jenny can scout out how many enemies we have exactly and once we get a number, we will all attack" We nodded 

Jean and I made makeshift barrels that would allow us to hide within the smoke to take Kenny's team down. Armin was deep in thought and Hange walked up to him to talk to him. Armin gathered everyone in a circle around Jean and me while we made the barrels, "Kenny's group doesn't use typical ODM gear," Armin started explaining, "they use Anti-personnel gear, the anti-personnel ODM gear has a big weakness the anchor points in the same direction as the gun so once it's deployed, the un can't be aimed again which means that while the users moving they are vulnerable to an attack from behind but their greatest weakness is once they've fired twice they need a few seconds to reload their weapons"

I listened to him as he explained the use and nodded. Soon enough, Jean and I finished up the barrels, "okay, it's ready" Jean said, I nodded. Levi nodded as well, "all right then, is everyone here ready?" I looked around, I knew what he meant by this, "cause you're all about to dirty your hands" We all stared at him, a look of determination in each of our eyes, I looked over at Jean and sent him a nod, he nodded back, I could tell he was finally ready, no further question. No one had verbally answered but it was time to go, "Guess that's a yes" Levi said.

We ducked into the trapdoor behind the alter and were greeted by a small hallway with a door at the end, "here we go" Levi said, he kicked the door open and Jean and I pushed the barrels down the staircase. I looked around for a split second, the room was like crystal, it was beautiful. When they were stopped at the bottom we ran in, Sasha ran in first and she shot a flaming arrow at the barrel. It exploded and filled the crystal room with smoke. Levi, Mikasa, and I started to fly through the smoke, everyone else began to fire flares from the stairs.

"Thirty-five enemies total" I heard Levi shout, "they're behind the pillars, continue the plan, we'll take them all out right here" He shouted, I nodded and flew around the pillars watching our enemies. I disappeared into the smoke trying to get away from the ones that could have seen me. 

"everyone scatter, let them spread out then surround them" I heard someone shout, I presumed it was one of Kenny's section commanders. I moved through the smoke as sneakily as I could, I listened around for my target. Sasha kept exploding the barrels, more smoke filling the room, Armin, Jean, and Connie were firing flares, but soon enough Jean, Connie, and Hange leaped into battle. I heard someone yell and maneuvered through the smoke towards the noise, I smirked and snuck upon them. As I emerged from the smoke I whipped my blade across the man's throat, and his buddy was next. Two down, I looked around trying to see if I saw anyone in the distance, but there was too much smoke. 

I kept going, I heard gunshots all around me, I saw Mikasa fly through the smoke. Then a bullet flew right past my eyes. I looked in the direction of the bullet and saw three more coming towards me. I flew everywhere trying to get past them, "damn she's fast" I heard one of them say. I stopped for a split second on the ceiling, I looked and quickly decided the best course of action, then I leaped towards them. One by one I felt their bodies cross my blade and I heard the bodies drop to the ground. I smirked and disappeared back into the smoke, I caught my breath for a second against a pillar. I looked around and saw Jean flying through the air, I looked down and saw someone under him about to shoot. Before I knew it my body flew towards him and cut his arms off, he fell down. He was pretty high up so I figured the fall killed him. I maneuvered back up to where Jean was, "again Jenny?" He asked I nodded, "that's two you owe me now Jean-boy"
