I climbed up the tunnel and was greeted by Moblit's arm and smiling face. I reached up to grab it but then I felt someone else's arm grab me. I followed the arm up and it was Armin, I smiled at him and he sent me a smile back. I got up on solid ground and looked forward at all the damage the titan had already created. Reiss's titan form was gross, he was crawling on the ground destroying everything in its path. Luckily he was moving pretty slow.

"There you are, I'll let the commander know everything going according to plan" I looked over and saw a scout shouting. Levi nodded in his direction and we went to go find our horses and saddle up getting ready for what was happening. We laid Hange down in the wagon and I sat across from Eren and Historia. We rode for a couple of seconds until Commander Erwin came riding up to us, "Erwin" Levi said

"Anyone hurt?" he asked looking at all of us, "yeah Hange took a hit," Levi said, I watched as Hange held up a bloody hand to Erwin, "doesn't look like anything too serious you've done excellent work, all of you," he said, I laughed a little, Eren shot me a look and I stopped. Erwin and Levi kept talking about the Reiss titan.

We started to ride towards the wall following the titan, luckily we were faster than it was so we started to pull ahead. Eren and Historia started to explain what happened with Reiss and told us about the Founding Titan and its memory abilities. I thought about what I had seen, that woman, the one with the purple eyes, she must have been the Founding Titan. We found out that Eren's father, I assumed he was the hairy titan, stole the power of the Founding Titan from the Reiss family.

"So, the power of the Founding Titan can only be used at full potential with someone who has royal blood," Hange stated, "but when that someone does obtain the Founding Titan's power they suddenly take on the First King's ideology which means they'll refuse to do anything about the titans" they took a deep breath in, "well this certainly is a conundrum so the First King thinks this is true peace huh? I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with him there"

"you know we still have the option to go back," Eren started, he looked back at the titan, "we just need that titan to eat me then Reiss will become human again we can still have a true Founding Titan" Eren sounded defeated. I rolled my eyes, "it's possible" Levi said, Mikasa gasped, "you don't mean" she said in disbelief.

"It's worth considering," Hange started, "once Reiss turns back into a human we could capture him and undo the First King's brainwashing assuming it can be done, it may well open up a path to save humanity. Tell me Eren if that turns out to be our best bet are you willing to do it?" she asked him, I looked up at Eren, "yes I am" he answered, I sighed and shook my head.

"Eren, I can't let you" Mikasa shouted at him. I took a deep breath in, "let's not forget the other option," I started wanting to weigh in, "first off the plan you're discussing is full of flaws," I glared at Eren, "for one thing it might not be possible to free Historia's father from the First King's will and no matter how you restrain him if he alters everyone's memories, we are finished, plus the Founding Titan isn't the only one with some kind of memory powers" I said, referencing my own memory powers, I didn't know what they were but if Eren could harden his titan body, there should be a way to control my visions.

"she's right" I looked over at Armin, "it's not even guaranteed that Reiss would turn back to normal if he did eat Eren, that's just a hypothesis no one's ever actually seen it happen before" I nodded at Armin, thanking him for being on my side.

"So far we've only been led by destructive pacifists" Historia spoke up, "and if they kept the Founding Titan's powers a secret that's how it would stay," I noticed a different look in her eyes, it was different, determined, angry, "this is humanity's first chance to escape from them. Eren, your father wasn't evil he was trying to save humanity from the First King, he stole the Founding Titan from my sister and then he murdered my father's wife and children because he had no other choice"
