We took Hitch and Marlo back to the Captain and explained everything that happened. Levi realized they were trustworthy and accepted them. Hitch and Marlo took us to the least manned checkpoint in the region. We planned a takeover and prepared to fight, we had two teams, a decoy team, and an attack team. Jean, Sasha, Connie, and I were the decoy team, we rode forward into the checkpoint yelling, throwing the guards off. We jumped off the wagon we were riding on and knocked out all of the MPs that were stationed there. Armin, Mikasa, and Levi snuck in from behind the checkpoint and helped to take the rest of the MPs out while we distracted them. We raided the supplies and went back into the woods for safety. The captain disappeared for a few moments and returned dragging a body.

"He's with the interior police, I've got questions for him, let's move," Captain Levi said, we all nodded. We went deeper into the woods, trying not to stray too far from the checkpoint so Hange could still find us. Night soon fell, Armin and I were looking out, trying to make sure that no one found us or the Captain. We were in the middle, Sasha and Connie were with the captain and Jean and Mikasa were out a little farther than us. Armin and I were close enough to see Levi torturing him but not close enough to hear him. The only word I heard was "Ackerman" it made my ears perk up slightly.

"Somebody's coming towards us," Sasha said, damn that girl had good ears. Armin and I fell to the ground, pointing our guns in the same direction Sasha had pointed. Honestly, I didn't know how to use a gun, so I hoped that I wouldn't have to use it. I huddled close to Armin on the floor, the closer I was to him the safer I felt. 

The two soldiers kept walking up to us, they weren't attacking, weird, then they pulled off their hoods, it was Hange and Moblit. I sighed a breath of relief, "oh, it's just Hange and Moblit" I said, Armin stood up and he helped me up.

"We have news," Hange said, they handed Captain Levi a newspaper article and we all crowded around him to see it, "and there you have it the coup was successful, Premier Zachary now had full control of the capital and government for the time being at least the nobles seem to be staying in line" Hange stated.

"Okay but what about the incident with Mr. Reeves?" Armin asked

"We got a public confession out of one of the interior police" Hange started, "Reeves' son Flegel really pulled through for us, its all written right there, the abuse of power, the bogus charges against the scouts, and that King Fritz was both a puppet and a fraud," I skimmed the article to read what it said, I was really impressed with how well this was all pulled off, not that I ever doubted Hange's abilities, "it's clear that we only acted out of self-defense, in short, we're no longer criminals" Jean, Sasha, Connie, Armin and I all gasped simultaneously and then cheered, I watched Connie pick up Sasha and spin her around. I laughed and wrapped my arms around Armin's neck   and pulled him into a hug, he hugged me back. Then I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pick me up from Armin's hug, "Jean" I laughed. I made eye contact with Moblit who was smiling at us with pride, we were all laughing. Mikasa cleared her throat and motioned towards Hange and Levi, we quieted down to listen to them.

"They still have Eren and Historia" Levi stated, Hange nodded, "I think I know where they might be, let's get there and put an end to this fight," Hange said. We all nodded and followed Hange and Levi back to the wagon we had left at the Military Police base. We walked over to the stable, there weren't many horses so I rode in the front of the wagon with Armin. Jean and Moblit rode in front of us, leading the way with torches. I held a torch next to me while Armin held the reins of the horse pulling the wagon.

"Hange you said you might know where they are?" I heard Mikasa say behind me, she was talking at a normal volume so we could all hear her. Hange looked up, "oh yeah I guess I should explain," Hange took a book out of their bag, "Erwin gave me this scouting manual with a report from an investigation on Lord Reiss' land," they opened the book and flipped through it, "it details a certain incident that occurred five years ago on the Reiss Estate"
