𖣔 𝕀 𝔹𝕖𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕋𝕠 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𖣔 (Suzaku x Reader)

Ocean memory

I sat in the alleyway I called Suzaku from and waited. Though waiting does get boring and being bored just makes you want to sleep. So I did.

Several moments before the pink light surrounded my vision I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head, as if something like a hammer had hit me.

"Please....live...."

That voice was strangely familiar, yet not being able to recognize it was a pain.

"I'm training to become a knight!" A boy with short black hair said.

I saw two kids and they didn't seem to notice or care that I was standing over in the corner of the room watching their conversation.

A small girl that sat in a hospital like bed stared at the boy with a tranced smile. "Wow! If you become a knight, you can drive one of those pretty knightmares!" The sickly girl exclaimed. "Hm, yeah but I don't really want to be a knight for the knightmare." The boy said as he had a thinking face.

"Huh?" The girl looked confused at the boy. "If not to ride the knightmare? Then why would you want to be a knight? I mean it does make good money and sets you for an easier life but-" the small girl rambled. "No it's not that or that...it's just..." the boy trailed off. "Hm?" The girl tilted her head to the side, looking for answers from the boy.

"I want to protect you, from any harm... I want to be next to you for everything" the boy's cheeks tinted a slight red, though not red enough to look like his red irises.

"So you will be beside me every day?..." the girl said with a hint of excitement. "Yeah...but in order for that I need to leave...." "what? Leave?" "Yeah, I'm going to go to a specific all boys boarding school in the north that trains boys to work for the Brittanian military. They are known for having trained very important knights like the ones in the round!" The boy's voice said with excitement.

"I'm happy for you but....I'm going to be alone...." she had a worried expression on her face. "I know..that's why.." the boy cupped one of the girl's hands, which was the one closer to him, with both his hands. "Do you think you can wait for me?" He looked at the sickly girl with pleading eyes. The girl looked away, seeming to try and gather her thoughts, she ended up putting a smile on her face and looked back at the boy. "When you become a knight, you will stay by my side forever and we can talk and play even more! So, yes! I'll wait for you to come back home! No matter how long it takes!" The girl said, and both the kids's smiles got bigger.

The scene changed. The boy was now in a navy uniform with a bag on the floor next to his feet. "Do you have to go?..." she asked meekly. The boy sighed with a smile. "Yes and you know we already agreed to this two months ago!" "I know.. it's just... I'll miss you... a lot..." the girl paused every few words to stop herself from chocking up. "I know...me too but don't worry! I'll write to you the most often I can over there! And I'll work really hard and be at the top of my classes! So that I can leave earlier and become a knight for you even faster! Okay? So wait for me!" The boy held out his pinky finger towards the girl. The girl looked at his finger and she then wrapped her own pinky with his. "Okay..."

A knock was heard at the door, possibly signaling it was time to leave. The boy smiled at the girl and walked towards the door. The door opened and he stood at the doorway. He looked back at the girl with a smile and waved to which the girl returned. The boy then faced forward and left. The door shut and the girl...was alone.

"Goodbye.....Seven..."

I woke up, slightly dazed at the dream I just had. I looked around and saw no sign of Suzaku yet so I ended up scrolling through the pictures on my phone. Though it took me a while to realize that I had tears streaming down my face.

"Seven..."

I called out. Remembering that little boy from the dream. His hair was black like Lelouch but had short hair and red eyes.

"Just what in the world was that?..."

I recalled the phone call I had with Suzaku some minutes ago. The conversation was about five or so minutes nothing out of the ordinary, he, of course was worried and he said he would pick me up. I told him about the beach I was stranded at and he also thought it was strange.

"I wonder how you got there, you got to a farther south part of area eleven when we were just here when the FLEIJA was unleashed."

It still is very strange. Just how does one get several hundred miles south of where a massive bomb destroyed a whole settlement and part of the city with it? It's basically impossible...

That light covered everything within its range and destroyed it...

Thinking about it will just hurt my brain more that it hurts on the daily...
