Woo Hoo! Part Seven.
Uhh. I just remembered to disclaim all of the chapters that I forgot to in the past.
I, Roozle do not own any of these characters (Except Ebony) or any places/storyline/ background info.
I've also used the direct dialog of the Desolation of Smaug. This is owned by Warner Brothers

I cantered to the edge of the lake not long after the sun had gone down and looked on to the town. It was dirty and had a miserable aura to it. I dismounted Tao and left him to graze. I spotted a bridge on the other side of the lake I was about to start walking when I spotted a rowing boat pulled high on the bank. I wondered who left it there but climbed in anyway. The oars were left in and I put them into the holders. I had never rowed in a boat before and I had expected it to be easy. I moved the oars forward but it only lodged the boat up the bank. I tried rowing backward but one of my oars got stuck in the mud and I turned the boat sharply. Frustrated, I tried turning again but as I was about to, a voice cried out.
"Oi," I spun around to see an old man dressed in rag-like clothes carrying a bundle of firewood. "What are you doing with my boat, lass" I turned my surprised face into a sweet smile, making my voice sickly sweet.
"Oh sorry! I need to get to the town to tell the master a message from king Thranduil. Dwarven prisoners have escaped from the kingdom and I thought using the boat would be easy." I had never been grateful for my blond hair before now, the black hair would have been more intimidating. The man broke into a toothy grin and said
"Let me show you" I was half interested in how to row for the future, but most of my mind was scheming for how to complete my task. I was confused as the man, (who introduced himself as Patrick,) hadn't heard of the dwarves entering the town. When we arrived I decided to kill him. If I was to sneak around the town looking for dwarves the last thing I needed was a brainless man talking about the "beautiful lass" that he found on the shores of the lake. Taking my knife I threw it and it flew into his skull making him fall out of the boat with a soft splash. I retrieved my knife and dived into the water swimming up to a bridge with my knife in my mouth. I hauled myself up and was about to sheath my knife when I heard heavy footsteps advancing quickly. I sprinted softly across the bridge and pressed against a wall making myself invisible. Two middle-aged guards walked silly helmets on. They walked past and spotted the bloody body of Patrick floating messily on the water. I would arrive telling the same story that I told Patrick to the master. They would imagine the dwarves had killed him and would start hunting for them. The men ran through the town and I followed treading quietly. They led me to the highest building of the town and what appeared to be the home of the master. They knocked frantically and were let inside by a hunch-backed, weasel-like man. Once they were inside, I was visible again and knocked on the door. The same man opened the door grumbling
"What!" he barked, but then looked up at me and his facial expression changed, into an intimidated smile and bowed low to me. I scowled, he would be a coward in battle, I could already tell.
"I come from the Woodlen Relam on the behalf of the king, I request an audience with the master of the town."The man lead me inside to a hallway full of golden treasures. The master was a fat, balding man with yellow teeth. He was talking to the guards looking slightly concerned. He turned and saw me and put on the same smile as the hunchback. He excused himself to the men and walked over to me. He opened his mouth wide to speak but I cut him off.
"I come on behalf of the king Thranduil. Armed dwarven prisoners' have escaped, they kill anyone who crosses their path and show no mercy." Fear crept over his face as he nodded and said "We shall catch these prisoners and send them back!" He turned and yelled to the cowardly hunchback.
