Ha! I said I would update on Saturday and it's currently 11:58! Two minutes to spare!

I felt the presence of others. I couldn't see them or hear them but I felt I knew they were there. I felt my eyes begin to open and my hearing start. The first thing I saw was a hand placed over my eyes. When it was removed I saw it belonged to Gandalf.
"Am I alive?" I asked him.
"Yes and the ring is destroyed." He answered. I went to sit up but a new a pair of hands held me down.
"Don't sit up. You've lost a lot of blood." Said Eowyn.
"I'll leave her in your capable hands." Gandalf told her. She smiled and nodded.

"I kept my promise." I said.
"If you think climbing into Mordor attacking someone you couldn't possibly kill and almost bleeding to death counts as trying very hard not to die then I'm starting to think that you really have lost a lot a blood."

"Yeah, not my proudest moment...." I said jokingly. She shook her head. "So how long was I unconscious this time."
"Two and half days." She spoke. "Well technically you have been out since the last age. Welcome to the fourth age."

"Wow." I said amazed. Suddenly I thought of something that my slow brain hadn't even considered.
"Are they alive...?" I asked quietly.
"They are. Everyone survived."
"Even the hobbits?" She nodded happily.
"Let me get up to see them then!" I ordered.
"I get them for you." She said calmly. She returned ages later with Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Merry and Pippen.
I bowed my head to King Aragorn who laughed. I hugged each and everyone of them. All was good.

A few days later I had been allowed to get up and walk around for short distances. Legolas stuck to me ready to catch me if I fell.
My wound on my neck was nearly healed and I found myself touching it absent mindedly. Legolas noticed this and tried to comfort me over it but I wasn't upset. If anything I was happy. I paid a visit to Frodo and Sam and we spent hours comparing journeys. When they were telling the tale of Minas Morgul I was excited to see if they had my note.

"When we saw the green spiral we took cover behind that rock. When we saw the wraiths we panicked because we thought they could see us. When you dropped the note we read it and realized it was you. We couldn't understand why you with them and why you were helping us at the same time. Gollum had spoken of a tunnel but we had no idea what so dangerous about it."

Sam said in one breath. I noticed Frodo was quieter. The ring had touched him deeply in ways no one but him would understand. The black ring on my finger felt powerless and so I began to take it off more and more. The day of Aragorn's coronation arrived and Eowyn insisted on dressing me well for the occasion. She was very upset that my hair was still coal black and got Gandalf to change it back. She gave me a green silk dress that had a cape attached to it. Out of all of the dress I had worn this was my favorite. With the crowd beginning to gather we walked over to join them. I lost Eoywn to Faramir shortly after so I went looking for Legolas. I saw him with another group of elves who had there back turned to me. I walked up to them and gasped.
"My Lord Elrond, I didn't expect to see you here." I addressed the elf.
"Greetings Elinor, I am glad to see you here to." I smiled.
"Tell me, is Arwen well?"
"Ask her yourself." He said beckoning to a figure in a pale green dress.
"Arwen!" I yelled to her. She turned around and smiled. "Elinor!" She said wrapping me in a tight embrace. When we broke apart she looked at me strangly. "You've changed." She observed.
"I've found myself." I answered quietly. She nodded.
"I knew you would." She said quietly. We talked quietly until the ceremony took place. Aragorn was unware that Arwen was here. He thought she was dead which explained his heavy heart as the crown was placed on his head by Gandalf. He didn't smile he didn't even look at the crowed. He stared out to the land with a distant look in his eyes as he sung a song of kings. I watched as he walked down the the stairs. He walked over to Legolas who covering Arwen. They exchanged knowing smiles until his eyes fell on her. Elrond looked a little unhappy to watch her walk timidly over to king.

I watched as she bowed her head respectfully. Aragorn lifted it and kissed her passionately. Arwen returned the kiss with just as much passion as the crowed erupted in cheers. I looked over to Eowyn and Faramir who were also kissing earning horrified looks from Eomer. I took Legolas's hand and we shared our own powerful love as we watched the King and Queen walked side by side. When they got to four hobbits, they all bowed deeply.

"You bow, to know one." Aragorn said bowing in front of the hobbits. Everyone else did the same, bowing to the proud hobbits. Gandalf was right. They truly are remarkable creatures.

There was party after the coronation which Legolas persuaded me to attend.
"It will be fun!" He said. I agreed to go eventually because I had nothing better to do then mourn Tao which I found myself doing quite a lot. The party had much ale but I didn't drink this time, there was to many drunken man guarding the tankards. There was a lot of music being played by and a dance floor. Eomer walked up to me.
"I am sorry for the loss of your horse" He said sincerely
"Thank you."
"And I just wanted to know that I am happy for you and Legolas." I nodded. "I'm sorry for all those times where I..."
"You are forgiven Eomer." I interrupted.
"Thank you." He said bowing before walking away. Seconds later Legolas walked over,
"May I have you hand for a dance?" He asked in his musical voice.
"Fine." I said bluntly. He took my hand and began twirl me around.
"Enjoying the party?" He asked as we danced through the crowed of other couples.
"Yes." I said plainly.

"It's over you know." He said referring to the war.
"I know. A new age without our kind." I said trying to point out why I was sad.
"Yes. But not without us."
"Your going to stay." I said in horror.
"Isn't that what you want?" He said.
"NO, well yes." I said quickly the words tumbling out of my mouth. "I don't know. We only have one chance to go and which we will say goodbye forever." He nodded in understanding.
"I kept a promise. Two promises actually, one was to visit the caves in Helms Deep with Gimli and another was to restore the forests."

I felt like my lungs were being ripped out through my throat. Legolas never went back on his promises. There was a horrible silence until I excused myself from the dance leaving him abandoned. I sought out Arwen but it would be cruel to take her away from Aragorn and Eowyn was dancing with Faramir. It was times like these that I would tell my problems to Tao and he would always listen and guide me in the right direction. I walked to the stables regardless though and found Raindrop in her stall. Someone must have bought her back for me. I stroked her silky mane and told her my troubles where she officially became my new horse. As I let her nuzzle me I realized something:
The war of the ring changed me for the better. But now the war was over and life would go on still changing. I knew there would be a place for me in the Valar where my Mother and soon Grandmother would welcome me in but the cost would hurt me. I would lose all of my friends. I thought about this and I new it would be unbearable to leave them but I new what I wanted. I would sail to Valinor and the last ship west.
