I'm not great at describing battle scenes so bear with me. The good thing is though we know what happens! That is one of the reasons why I like fanfiction. You are always sure what will happen. (Well most of the time.)

When the horn sounded that it was time to leave, I had never been in such a slow parade. It irritated Tao greatly. He wanted to run free. I rode nearby the others who were talking to Theoden and Eowyn. I didn't join in though. Every while or so Eowyn would train her beady little eyes on me to make sure I hadn't killed anyone. I knew she was going to tell the king about me but my guess is that she didn't want to do it in front of Aragorn. My guess was correct but instead she had a comical conversation with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. Annoyed at not being a part of I didn't join in. Legolas noticed and dropped back to ride with me. We rode in comfortable silence until I heard horrific yells coming ahead of the party. Legolas dismounted Arrod and handed the reins to Gimli. He then jumped up behind me and we cantered up the brow of the hill. Two guards were getting attacked by wargs and a fowl looking orc. I hit one straight into the forehead with an arrow while Legolas ran down to warn the others. I could hear the screams of terror from the women and children. 'Shut up' I thought, they were giving away our location to anymore warg riders. More of which were riding over the hill. I shot one down marveling at the shot.
"Two." I told Legolas as he joined me. I looked behind. The men were mounting and some riding up the hill. Aragorn the joined the sea of riders as he flew up the hill. When they got closer, Legolas swung himself onto the saddle on Arrod in front of Gimli. We galloped towards the wargs our spears rising high in the air. When we met all grace or beauty that we had, was lost as we got to creatures. I managed to dehead lucky number 6 when a I saw an arrow come flying toward Tao's stomach. With barely any time to react I used my leg to block it. I screamed out in pain. The arrow had hit just above my ankles. Legolas shot the orc who had done it but the pain was starting to make me feel dizzy. The last thing I remembered was a sharp pain in my shoulder as I hit the ground.

I awoke on the green earth but the smell of blood hung in the air. Legolas was standing over me with tears in his eyes.
"I'm worth your precious tears am I?" I told him sarcastically. Gimli bent down next to me,
"It's not that Lass, Aragorn's dead."
"No, No NO HE'S NOT DEAD!" I screamed. I tried to get up but pain from my shoulder erupted through my body. I looked down and saw that my leg had been bound but blood was sweeping through. Here, we'll put you on Tao and join the others, the king has ordered everyone back." I sniffled as they put me on Tao's back. I couldn't sit up very straight so instead I lay down,my tears trickling into Taos mane. We joined the other riders and reached Helms deep not very long after. When we got there Legolas told me that there was no body to bury and he tumbled of the cliff into the river. Miserable, and snappy to anyone who wanted to help me, I hobbled over to the stables and put Tao safely there. The king was setting up in a what appeared to be the hall. Everyone else was crammed into where ever would fit. I found Legolas gazing a solid stone wall looking lost. I went over to him but I heard a commotion outside. I walked outside to the King of Gondor, standing with a cut in his arm and blood seeping from wounds all over his body.

"Where is he?" Said Gmili pushing through the crowds until he reached him.
"Oh bless you laddy! Bless you!" I laughed and joined them giving Aragorn a hug. Legolas came over last happier then I had ever seen. I caught sight of Eowyn looking like she wanted to come over but I have her a "Rack Off!" look and she ran to the hall.
"Aragorn, what happened?" I asked.
"I shall tell you in good time but I must see the king." We took him to king who was listening to Eowyn to her tell about my father.
"She's evil and she will bring doom upon us all. She has deceived all but me for I'm the only one that knows her secret."
"I told you, everyone I know well enough trusts me." I said behind her. Theoden looked at me suspiciously, he was probably very weary of spies after Wormtounge.

"My lord, Elinor is no spy, nor would she ever try to hurt anyone. We have bigger problems though," Aragorn said. I glanced at Eowyn who was looking annoyed in a usual manner. "Orcs have been sent by Saruman to destroy Rohan."
"How many?" The king asked.
"Ten thousand strong at least." The king stopped what ever little movement he was doing.
"Ten thousand?" Aragorn nodded gravely. Theoden put his head in his hands and sighed.
"We have little men. Not nearly enough to counter act the forces of Saruman." We walked outside to witch we looked out upon the bare ground, soon to be covered with orcs. He turned to his men.
"Get the women and children to the caves, everybody else who can wield a sword must be out here." The guards turned and left. "They will hit this fortress like water on rock. There has never been a battle that has been lost in these halls.

"My lord, there has never been a battle with ten thousand Urak-Hai! The white wizard is cunning and he will stop at nothing to kill the last man, women and child!"

"What do you want me do?" He asked me angrily.
"Send out riders!" I said. "We are not alone in this fight."
"Saurons forces occupate Gondor, it is 2 day ride for them to get here and there numbers a few!"

I rolled my head on my shoulders and turned away. This was probably the last daylight I would ever see.
