I stood next to Legolas as they buried the kings the son Theodred. Eowyn stood next to me on my other side. She looked at me with interest but I didn't make eye contact. We walked back in dribs and drabs, me and Legolas and Gimli joking and laughing, though trying to subtly to as everyone else was teary. Aragorn was talking to Eowyn who was looking at him with adoration and continued to ask him questions. Aragorn understood her intentions and politely answered trying to show it was a one way affection. She did not stop though and continued.
"What is wrong with her?" I said cruelly to Legolas. He snickered but then sombered up.
"Have a little heart, she's probably suffered."
"Well I have too and you don't see me hanging around Aragorn like a lost lamb."
"No, just me." Legolas said tauntingly. I punched him hard in the arm.
"Yes you do hang around me." I retorted. He laughed just a spotted something in the distance.
"There!" I pointed. Everyone swiveled around. I squinted, it was two kids on a black horse. As I watched one of them fell of. "Come on!" I said running toward them. All five of us ran over to them.
Eowyn helped a boy up who appeared to have fainted and I held there horse. A young girl was still on the saddle who looked like she'd cried a the great river's worth of tears. The older boy had woken up now and Eowyn and was listening him talk.
"They burned the town, and Momma told us she would meet us there." He said distressed.
"Come on, are you hungry? You'll see your momma soon." We walked back to castle me leading there horse. I helped the little girl dismount since then she had stuck to me like honey. Eowyn went to find some food for them and I joined the "We are under attack, what the hell do we do" meeting.
"I do not want to risk open war." The king said.
"Open war is upon weather you risk it or not."
"Sarumans forces are only growing," I told the king "It will not be long before he launches the last assault to wipe all of you out."
The king ignored me but I knew I was right.
"Are you going to help me look after theses kids?" Eowyn asked.
"No." I answered. This the king did hear, and he gave me a perfect glare.
"Why not?" Eowyn asked irritated, "You're an elf aren't you."
"Legolas is more elf then me." I said truthfully. Now that Sauron was in fact my father, I was half elf, half Mair. She gave me a pleading look and I uncrossed my arms.
"Fine." I spat. The kids were quite nice but with the announcement that we were all going to Helms Deep made them think that they were never going to see there mother again. I wanted to tell them that I had never met my mother but I choose to be nicer and comforted them instead. I left the children to go to the stable with Gandalf.

"Foolish, Helms deep! They've just stepped write into Saruman's plan. Elinor, you are men and elves last hope, the ring will be destroyed with your help. Save as many as you can." He leapt onto the back of Shadowfax.
"Where are you going?" I asked him.
"To get help! Before it's to late. Look to my coming at the third morning in the east." I nodded. With that he galloped out of the stabels leaving a trail of dust behind him. A farmilar neigh made me spin around in surprise. I was not dreaming, it was Tao!

"Tao!" I yelled out trying to find out where he was. Another neigh lead me into the second block of stables.
"There my eyes met the most horrific thing I had ever seen. Two man were dragging out my beautiful stallion with cruel ropes. Another was hitting him on the rump with a wip.
"savop!" I yelled. (Stop) Tao stopped struggling and I ran to three man and punched them. One in face, one in the stomach and the one was hitting my best friend extrs hard in the neck. They toppeld over and other people in the stable watched with  awe and horror. I threw the ropes off him and gave him a big hug. I then jumped up on his back.
"That horse is evil!" Someone yelled.
"She's going to get herself killed!' yelled another. Tao did not buck or rear at all making it all the more satisfying. The guards got up woozily and saw me with great surprise.
"GET OFF THAT HORSE." One yelled. I cracked my knuckles and he shut up. I saw Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli all smirking at door. Just then Eowyn walked in carrying a bridal and saddle. When she saw me though scowled and walked out. I rode Tao over to Aragorn,
"Gonna comfort you girlfriend" I whispered sarcastically. He glared at me.
"My lady," A guard walked up to me. "That horse does not belong to you." I smirked and he continued. "It was found in the wild and is now the Lady Eowyns horse."
"I have had this horse since the second age. It belongs he belongs to me." I said coldly. Not sure what to say next, the guard left the stable.

I found an old bridal and packed a bag for all things to carry to Helms Deep. Excited to have my Horse back I gave him a brush and scratch.
"You are the only one who has ridden this horse." Said a timid voice behind me. I looked at Eowyn. "This horse has been with me whole life, he will never leave my side and the only reason you found him here was because I had to choose between the defeat of my father... I mean the Sauron or keep him with me. I was so glad we found each other again." I told her. She narrowed her eyes.
"You father?"
"Yes, Sauron is my father. I am not full elf, see?" Her eyes widened.
"Does Lord Aragorn know?" She asked. I shrugged. Her eyes widened. "You will betray us." She said. She looked around until she found a rusted sword in a holster on a pile of crates. Unsheathing it she attacked at me. I dodged.
"I am on your side!" I said is I weaved around her sword. "I swore to protect the ring! Most people don't trust me with my past but everyone who matters in this world does!" I soon as I said it I new it was a bad choice of words. She stopped trying to kill me and pointed her chin up a little.
"Your words do not make me believe are one of us, Elinor."
"Very well then," I said brushing Tao again. "But don't keep claiming my horse." She walked off furious.
