▪︎ Too Fast – X Lovers

WHAT DRACO WAS totally unaware of, was what he made feel to Annelisse.

When she caught him looking at her, she could not stop her heart from racing, but she loved it when he did, she liked the way he looked at her and what he made her feel.

Annelisse had taken an interest in some boys, but this —what happened with Draco— was totally different. She really liked him. In all the time they had spent together she had seen a totally different person than the one she had seen in the corridors of Hogwarts for years.

She had discovered a sweet, caring boy with whom she could be herself. When she was with him, felt that nothing bad could happen.

"We should go inside, it's starting to get cold." Draco said breaking the silence when he noticed that the wind had picked up.

Annelisse did not say anything, she just got up and Draco after her. She was about to take off Draco's jacket but he stopped her, putting it back on her.

"I'm fine." He smiled at her "Besides, it looks great on you."

To which Annelisse responded by lowering her head slightly, hiding the blush that had appeared on her face. Draco found it cute and could not contain a little smile.

They both started walking and went down the stairs to enter the Astronomy classroom once more. When they arrived, they walked through the enormous place, letting out a sigh or another. As they did so, Annelisse looked at the board and had an idea.

"You know how to play 'Who am I'?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"A little."

She smirked and walked purposefully toward the board. She took a piece of chalk and began to write on it, putting her and Draco's names on it.

"Get there." She said turning to see him and pointing to the ground next to her.

Draco walked over and sat exactly where she had told him. He had sat under the board, against it. He raised his head, looking at Annelisse, who was writing something above his head on the blackboard.

"Don't look, don't cheat!" She said, seeing that he was looking. Draco tried to hide his smile from her and looked straight ahead again, trying to keep his composure.

When Annelisse finished writing a name above Draco's head, she stepped in front of him and sat across her legs, staring at him.

"Well, now you have to guess who you are. Ask me." She said smiling, because of her emotion.

Draco moved his lips, wondering what to ask Annelisse. Within seconds, one came to mind.

"Am I a student?"

"Yes."

"Well... am I in Slytherin?"

Annelisse denied. Draco tried to think of another question, shaking his head slightly.

"Gryffindor?"

She denied it again and this time she bit her lower lip, holding back a small laugh.

"Hufflepuff?" he tried, raising an eyebrow.

She nodded.

"Am I going to seventh year?"

She denied. At the moment, Draco was totally lost, he did not know who he was and that amused Annelisse.

"Oh, come on. I don't know anyone in Hufflepuff." He said.

Annelisse opened her mouth, bringing her hand to her chest, feigning pain, to which Draco could not help laughing "You hurt my feelings, Draco."

"Am I pretty?" He asked after having an idea about who he was.

"Well that's up to you." She said with a shrug, shy.

"In that case, I am truly pretty." He responded with a smile, knowing for sure what was the name he had above him.

That made Annelisse blush, lowering her head slightly to hide it. Draco watched her with a smile and she felt that tingling in her stomach once more. Draco Malfoy had just called her pretty and she felt so good about it.

"Is it you, Annelisse Haunt?" He raised an eyebrow.

She bit her lower lip again, nodding, as she stood up. Headed back to the board and scored a point under Draco's name.

"It was just training." She said.

"Sure, sure." He answered getting up.

Annelisse sat up and Draco thought of a name to write on top of her. After much doing, he came up with one and wrote it down.

"Ready." He said and sat across from her, looking at her.

Annelisse moved her lips as she frowned "Isn't it you by chance?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Of course not." He let out a laugh "You thought I was gonna make it easy for you?"

"I had to try it." She responded by lifting her hands. Cleared her throat, refocusing on the game and thought of another question "Am I a girl?" She asked.

To which Draco shook his head.

"Well I'm a boy... um, am I from my year?" Draco denied "Yours?" He denied again.

"Ugh..." She said "Am I in Gryffindor?"

"Nope."

"Slytherin?"

"Something like that."

"What? What means something like that?" She frowned, confused, and Draco could not help laughing when he saw her that way.

"Come on, it's not that difficult." He replied.

Annelisse thought as she looked at Draco, seeing that he was enjoying himself because she did not know who she was. Within seconds, she had an idea.

"Am I a professor?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe... or maybe not." He said, imitating Severus Snape's voice.

In the second, Annelisse's face changed to surprise, realizing who "Snape!" She responded out loud.

Draco nodded, smiling.

"Because I've given you the clue..."

"Oh, come on! I would have guessed it." She responded in a funny way.

And there, they went back to playing as if they were little children and Draco liked that. Anything, as long as he was with her, seemed perfect to him.

Two completely different worlds were coming together, creating something very special between them and they owed it all to Buttons.
