Part fourteen

AS SHE MADE her way to her common room, Annelisse smiled remembering what had been about to happen in the Astronomy classroom.  She brought her fingers to her mouth, as if she could still feel the brush of Draco's lips on hers. It had been a wonderful feeling even if it had not happened.

Without realizing it —deep in thought and Draco— she reached to her common room. Then, said the password and entered.  As soon as she did, she tried to search the crowd for Mittie, her roommate.

Since she could not find it, she spotted Thaddeus and headed towards him.

"Hey, Thadd." Exhaled.

"Ann, hey!" He said surprised.  Both embraced and separated to see each other "How are you? We haven't seen you today, we asked for you and nobody knew anything."  Thaddeus and Annelisse were very good friends, often hanging out with Mittie, the three of them together.

"It's a long story I'll tell you about. Have you seen Mittie? She must be worried."  She twisted her lips.

"She was with me but she went back to your room." He said as he pointed his thumb back.

"Perfect! See you later, Thadd, thanks!"  She said waving her hand as a goodbye to him and headed towards the girls' rooms.

After climbing the stairs, she went decisively to their room and entered.

Mittie, who was packing her suitcase for tomorrow, turned her head and saw Annelisse. As she did so, her face changed completely and she walked towards her "Where the hell are you?! You had me worried. I went to ask McGonagall and nobody knew anything about you." Scolded her.

"Sorry, it's a long story that I'm going to tell you now."  Annelisse responded with a slight frown, apologizing and put Buttons on the ground.

"And whose coat is that you're wearing?" Mittie pointed.

She looked down at herself and could see that she was still wearing Draco's coat.  She had not realized it until now and that made her smile widely, in a silly way. "I'm about to tell you now. Don't be impatient and sit down."  She ordered her, pointing the bed with a frown.

The two of them sat on Mittie's bed and Annelisse sighed before beginning to speak. She knew that Mittie was going to completely hallucinate and did not know how to start telling her everything that happened.

"I got locked in the Astronomy tower and did not have my wand, so I could not get out."  She raised both eyebrows.

"Oh, God. Sorry Ann, I had no idea. It must have been awful." Mittie was frowning at her with some concern.

"Not really."  She replied with a smile, to which Mittie looked at her confused "It has been one of the best days of my life. I wasn't alone."  After saying that, she bit her lower lip.

"What?" exclaimed "Who were you with?" She asked that last with some mischief in her eyes.

"I was with... a boy."

"Annelisse Marie Haunt, you are going to tell me everything in detail right now!"

"Ok, ok."  She sighed again, smiling "This morning, Buttons escaped, you know—" She rolled her eyes "—He made me chase him around the castle and ended up climbing the Astronomy tower. There was a boy."

"Who, who?"  She asked impatiently.

"Wait..." Annelisse replied.  She did not want to mention Draco's name yet, she wanted her to hear the story first, since she would not believe who she had been with.  "When I had Buttons, I left after arguing a bit with that boy and it turned out that they had closed the Astronomy classroom. He didn't have his wand either and well—"
