Sawyer was just petrified by this and max just grabbed her and threw her to the side. When she landed she saw him head straight for Danny!

Danny then turned around and saw max right in front of him. The then got on the piano and got out a candle stick and swung it to his face, all for him to snort at Danny making him hit a rope lever. When he came to he saw max charging at him, luckily he got a rising rope just as the giant was about to grab him
