All was quiet and peaceful, latias and Steven had fallen days asleep, as well as Timon and pumbaa, who cried themselves to sleep. And latios was asleep in the nest he and latias slept in when they were babies. But something didn't feel right. Something woke latias up so she got up and went to investigate and wa Shona come back to Steven as soon as she was done. It was zanna and Oakley who infiltrated the garden with their Pokémon espeon and ariados
Oakley: they should be here somewhere
Zanna: this is where the kid was playing with latias
Latias came right into their trap! She was in the open vulnerable to attack!
Oakley: we're in luck! Looks like she wants to play with us now
Latias flew in the opposite direction only for the two to ambush her by surprise and she was headed straight for ariados who was ready to shoot webbing out!
Latias: help!
Luckily latios came in the nick of time
Latios: quick! Use camouflage!
The two then blended into their surroundings making them entirely invisible
Zanna: uh oh, that's a new one
Oakley: these two are just full of surprises
Zanna: which makes them even more valuable!
Latios charged while latias tried to flee but the sisters were prepared for this. They got out their x ray glasses and they spotted latias in a snap!
Zanna: ariados now!
Ariados obeyed and blasted at latias only for latios to charged and take her place and he got caught in webbing and a net bolting him with so much electricity he could get out of it

Zanna: espeon!
Espeon blasted latias sending her to plummet to the ground draining her energy to fight back
Latios: latias!
Espeon charged at the unconscious pokemon only for latios to slide to the rescue to block the felines rom reaching his sister giving her enough time to get up
Latias: latios!
Latios: sister run! Save yourself!
Latias: not without you!
Latios: forget about me run! Go! Run and don't look back! Hide in the pool where the soul dew is! Hurry!
Latias hesitated but she then did what her brother told her and his into the water. Only for the two to follow her and pry the jewel out with their bare hands
