Steven and Dacto were flying for a while, Steven needed to see if sorna was handling itself okay, especially with all the rumor surrounding it, so he convinced Dacto to fly him to the island himself and they could just see it
Dacto: ya sure ya wanna keep going? We could always turn around. Besides, I've been flying all night and boy are my arms tired!
Steven: keep going! I need to see how sorna is holding up
Dacto: do w heave to? You remember the last time we were on that place? Let me remind ya, it wasn't pretty
Steven: I know dacto! But we gotta keep moving
Just then Dacto saw something in the water
Dacto: ya see that?
Steven: see what?
Dacto looked back where he saw the dark figure but it was gone
Dacto: never mind
Just then, a giant shark burst through the water!

It was a cretoxyrhina! A middle Cretaceous shark! With its rows of 2.1 centimeters long teeth it missed the duo by inches before tearing back into the water
Dacto: that's it! We're turning around!
Steven: no! We're going straight!
Dacto: turning around!
Steven: (thinking, god sometimes I wish he'd be quiet) I'm the dinosaur whisperer here and I saw we keep going!
Dacto: And I say we go the opposite way!
As they kept arguing the cretoxyrhina was swimming straight for them, it's black soulless eyes fixed on the pterosaur and leapt into the air and grabbed Dactos wing!
Dacto: ow!
The shark then landed back into the water with a huge chunk of his wing in its mouth

The two then made a beeline for sorna
Dacto: mayday! Mayday! We're going down! I repeat! We are going down!
Dacto smacks into a tree and Steven was sent flying and starts bouncing off the nearby hill and kept rolling, in fact he was rolling down with mud covering him everywhere making him covered up into a mud ball!

He rolled so fast he rolled off a ramp like formation and was flying into the air and fell into a murky swamp where he was wedged into a pile of rocks to at broke his fall
