Steven Ran as fast as he could to where he met zilla, all there was was a gigantic hole in the street and he knew that's where he could've been. He jumped into the hole and slid down down down until he hit a sewer line. He went down the line until he hit Fenway park stadium, at least below, and right in front of him was a clutch of eggs

He knew this was the right place, he looked around and everywhere he look was eggs here, eggs there eggs everywhere! All of a sudden he heard a crack, he looked to his left and out of one of the eggs came out a baby zilla

Steven: aww! Hi little fella
He then heard cries and roars and knew the others were hatching too, he had to find their dad and fast, or else this happy family would be destroyed
Steven: come on kids, we gotta get outta here, now! The place is gonna blow up if we don't leave
The babies could hardly understand Him at all
Steven: ugh, um... aha!
He then did bellow and screeches from his primal side in their language and the babies then understood him
Steven: good! Come on!
Steven and the babies then ran through the stadium just as the rest of the cluster came out of their shells, Steven and the offspring made it to the door but it was too late
BOOM!!!
The stadium went up in flames just as the babies made it to the door. Steven could only watch in horror as zilla's babies burst into flames
Steven: NO!!!
When the smoke cleared Steven only saw nothing but corpses of babies that were just born, it was horrible, but then he saw something that cheered him up, one last egg that survived!

Steven: oh thank goodness!
And just in time too, cause zilla made his entrance just as the egg started to hatch
Zilla: what happened?
Steven: I was too late to save your kids but look!
Zilla looked down at the surviving egg just as the baby inside came out

The baby looked up to his father and gave a small chirp and looked at Steven
Steven: hi little fella
The baby came out of his broken egg and was in stevens face, he accidentally hatched with yolk and embryonic sack on Steven. The baby licked Steven and nudged his fathers snout, making Steven very happy. But all things came to an end as the military found zilla
Zilla: hide my son, I'll lead them away!
Steven: okay! Come on buddy
The baby understood and followed Steven into Central Park and zilla made his way to the Brooklyn bridge. But he got tangled up in it as the middles and military arms fired at the beast,

he got blasted by so much middles and firearms that he collapsed to the ground exhausted. Before he took his last breath, he muttered
Zilla: take good care of my son...
And then he closed his eyes for the last time just as the military returned to base ... Almost 3 days passed and Steven kept zilla jr hidden from everybody and now he was as big as Rex

Zilla jr: looks like it
Ever since what happened to his father, Steven took good care of junior who imprinted on him since he was covered in embryonic sack and yolk, in fact he was able to teach jr how to speak the human language out loud
Steven: so how's everything going?
Jr: same old same old, but I'm starting to get tired of hiding, especially with dad.... gone
Steven: I'm sorry pal, but don't worry, one day you'll show everybody your not a monster
