You wouldn't believe it if it wasn't true. You read about them in books, hear the tales of the wild things and the gods verses the Titans, you watch the movies of monsters, incorporated. But the truth is.... monsters exist. The organization known as monarch known about giant monsters since before Steven was born and before Jurassic park and all of his adventures. This is the history of monarch before we officially start the story.

In 1943, with the allies in the offensive against the Japanese empire in the pacific, the USS Lawton washed ashore in California, It's hull ravaged and its crew missing. Only one survivor was recovered from the site of the attack: William randa.
