Chapter 21

Third Person POV

Hope and Josie stood infront of dark Josie. Josie was standing up to the dark magic and she can feel a sort of power inside of her. Hope starts reciting a spell as Josie continues to gain more confidence. She was going to let her friends die and she had to fight this magic.

"You will never win! This is me! I am in control of myself!" Josie yells out and then a blast of magic comes out of Josie, going at the dark Josie. Dark Josie starts to slowly fade.

"No what's happening?! No!" Dark Josie screams out and tries to say a spell, but then her hands fade away. Josie and Hope watch as the dark magic finally goes away and the sky slowly becomes clear. Everything was returning back to normal and Josie feels all the power going back into her.

"I think...I think we did it." Josie says and turns to look at Hope. They cheer happily and Josie gives Hope a hug.

"Now that you're back, we should return to everyone. They're probably waiting for us." Hope says to Josie before pulling away. Josie nods and takes Hope's hand once more to recite a spell to get Hope out and Josie back in control of herself.

Outside of Josie's mind

Dylan was on the edge of death with his heart in the hand of Josie who was about to rip it out. He had said his last few words to tell Josie that it wasn't her fault that he had died and he didn't want her to go on with her life blaming herself, but soon all that darkness he felt fades away. The light returning to his eyes and he feels Josie's hand slowly letting go of his heart. He looks up at Josie and Josie had a shocked look on her face.

"Dylan?" She asks then pulls her hand out of his chest. He gasps and falls back onto the ground coughing softly, catching his breath. She takes a step back to look at her surroundings then looks at her hand to see the blood. She frowns never actually seeing blood on her hand like this before. "I'm so sorry." She says quietly.

Dylan finally being able to catch his breath looks back up at Josie. He gets up slowly realizing that Josie is back he walks up to Josie and gives her a big hug.

"Josie. It's you..." He says softly and holds her tight. Tears roll down Josie's cheek and she sniffles. She slowly wrap her arms around him to hug him back.

"I'm back." Her voice cracks as she starts to cry softly. He just holds her still, embracing her and comforting her.

"Josie?" Lizzie asks and gets off the ground from where she was at and she stands up. Josie pulls away from Dylan and looks over at Lizzie.

"Lizzie...?" Josie says sadly, she missed her sister so much. They both run to each other and give each other a big hug. Hope comes out of the room waking up after Josie had returned to her body. She goes down the halls and finally finds the rest of the crew.

Hope spots Dylan and runs over to hug him from behind. He feels arms wrap around him and turn around to see Hope. He hugs her back and everyone just comes around to embrace each other. Rafael stays with Landon's body to wait for him to come back alive.

Everyone pulls away and Josie wipes away her tears. She was happy to be back and being able to feel like she had full control of herself. Those past few days were hard on her and she honestly just wanted to rest herself.

"I'm sorry to ruin this whole thing, but can I just go to sleep please?" Josie asks and laughs alittle which causes everyone to laugh.

"Go ahead. Get yourself some sleep Josie." Dylan says as he puts his arm around Hope. Josie nods and looks around.

"Where do I go?" Josie asks never really been in the triad place before and Lizzie takes her hand.

"I'll show you." Lizzie leads her sister away to their room.
