Chapter 12

Dylan tries crawling away as he pulls the stake out and Peter watches him, enjoying it. As Peter was about to shoot Dylan, Hope comes up from behind seeing what's going on and recites a spell on Peter. Peter falls to the ground unconscious and Hope runs over to Dylan.

"Dylan." She frowns seeing what had happened to Dylan and gets down to his level. She helps him by grabbing the knife and pulling it out of his leg. She sees how slow he was healing, "Here. Feed on me." She says and holds her wrist out for her.

Dylan leans forward and grabs her wrist. He sinks his teeth in her wrist and starts drinking to hopefully help heal himself. Landon makes a disgusted face and turns away.

"Okay. That's uh...fun." He says and waits for them to finish. Dylan drinks a lot before pulling away from Hope's wrist and sits up. He starts healing faster now and feeling better.

"Thanks." Dylan says to Hope before getting up. "I thought I was really going to die." He gets off the ground and stands up. "Let's go save the rest of them." He says as he looks around at the remaining students still in cells. The three of them continue to let people out the cell.

Lizzie was the first to wake up and groans softly. She runs her temples and looks around at everyone. She sees her dad and gets up slowly to go over to him.

"Dad." Lizzie shakes Alaric alittle to get him to wake up. Soon Josie wakes up, but really not as herself. The dark magic had consumed her and she stands up. She walks over to Abbigail who wakes up after. Abbigail coughs slightly and slowly opens her eyes.

"Josie." Lizzie says seeing Josie's eyes and becoming concerned. Abbigail looks up at Josie and sees her eyes. Abbigail grins and chuckles.

"You did it." Abbigail says, but Josie uses her magic to lift up Abbigail. "You're going to rule the supernatural world one day." Abbigail says to Josie. Josie doesn't say anything and starts to choke her using magic. Abbigail starts gasping for air and choking.

Lizzie looks away and shakes at Alaric to try to get him up. Alaric wakes up feeling Lizzie shake him and groans in pain. His whole body hurt.

"Lizzie?" He looks up to see his daughter as he slowly sits up. Josie keeps going till she finally chokes out and kills Abbigail. Josie tosses Abbigail's lifeless body aside like a rag doll and then walks away from everyone. Alaric and Lizzie hear Abigail's body hit the wall then look over.

"Oh my god. What just happened?" Alaric looks back to see Josie walking away. "Josie!" Alaric calls out to her and Lizzie gets up.

"Josie!" Lizzie calls out also and runs after her. Lizzie grabs her arm and stops her. Josie turns to look at Lizzie, her eyes still the same. Lizzie then starts to feel the dark magic try to seap into her so she let's go of Josie's arm. "Josie. Please tell me it's you and that you're okay." Lizzie frowns at her sister.

"I'm fine. I have things to go do." Josie says nonchalantly before the ground shakes beneath them both causing Lizzie to back up and a part of thr ground breaks underneath Josie. Josie then breaks out the building as she stood on that ground that broke.

"Josie!" Lizzie calls out and then runs back to Alaric. "Dad. Dad." Lizzie says as she gets back to Alaric.

"What? What is it?" Alaric asks as he helps Rafael up off the ground.

"Josie is gone. I don't know what happened to her, but she's gone." Lizzie says in a worried tone.

"What do you mean gone?" Alaric raises his eyebrow as he gets up after Rafael.

"She...took off dad. I don't know. She said she had some things to do then left." Lizzie explains. There's still shooting happening in the building then a big explosion causing the ground to shake.
