Hermione's POV
I wake up to the sound of the lovely birds from outside my window. It reminds me of Hogwarts and how in the morning I would always see them when I looked out the window. I smile and think of Rose and what she must be doing there and I remember the note and what Hugo & Lily told me. My smile vanishes immediately and I look away from the birds hoping to forget all the dangers my Rose is in. I rinse my face with cold water hoping that everything was a dream. I can't even tell Ron or anyone. I don't know what to do, how am I to protect her from all the way here? I place my face in my hands and feel how useless I am. I will find help as soon as possible but I refuse to tell my family about it. For now, the only thing I can now do alone is protect Hugo. I dry my face and cook pancakes hoping to cheer Hugo up when he wakes up. After all, he's much too young to already be worrying about safety. I think of Hugo and try to make myself appear normal and not feel crushed on the inside.

"Morning," I hear someone say behind me, "why are you up so early?" Oh it's Ron.
"Nothing just feel like making pancakes." I say in the most normal voice possible without turning around.
"It's 8:00, Hugo needs to go to school now, where is he?"
I check my watch and realize he's right.
"He's just sleeping, I'll go wake him up before he misses the bus. Keep an eye on the pancakes for a minute, will you?" I leave the room without an answer and head to Hugo's room. I see a figure in bed facing the window and turn on the lights.
"Hugo, get up, it's time to go to school!" I say and then turn my heel and walk back to the kitchen. I see Ron freaking out and trying to save the pancakes, which are already fully burned. I laugh at the sight and walk towards him. I grab the pancakes and throw them in the garbage. I kiss him and turn toward the pancakes.
"Well I learned my lesson, never ask Ron to help you with cooking, ever." I chuckle and turn to make more. "I may not be able to cook, but I'm good at other stuff" he says sliding his hands down my waist clearly trying to seduce me. I turn around and hit him playfully in the shoulder, scoffing, "Go away, you're disturbing me," when he doesn't leave I motion with my hands "come on, go do something useful" I turn back to my cooking and roll my eyes. After about 20 minutes I finish my pancakes and Hugo still hasn't gotten up! I walk straight to his room to his bed and lift the covers.
"If you don't get up right now, young man, I-" my eyes widen as I look down and all I see is a bunch of pillows. "Ron?" I shriek, he appears at the door quickly and raises an eyebrow.
"Where's Hugo?"
