Lily's POV
Hugo and I take some bikes and helmets out of the garage and we leave the garage peddling quickly to reach the park as we agreed on. When we get to the park and out of our house's views, we get off the bikes and sit at a park bench to not attract too much attention. As soon as we reach the park I get off my bike and sprint to a bench yelling at Hugo to hurry up and do so as well. Not attracting attention- let's just say I'm not too good at it. After some of the noisy people at the park turn around and mind their own businesses, I immediately take the note from my pocket.
"This is the note I was telling you about." I say handing it to him.
"Oh, okay." He takes the note from me and opens it. He looks at it and lifts an eyebrow then looks back at me.
"See, I told you! Now you owe me for being such a jer-"
"I don't-I don't, see anything Lily." He interrupts me and says to me softly.
"You, but..." I reply, grabbing the note to look myself.
"Lily, it's alraight, it was probably just a symptom of the fainting and you thought you sa something."
"But, but, it said to leave. It said that, I swear!" I loom around frantically searching for an explanation and when I meet his eyes, all I see is pity and embarrassment.
"Its alright. You probably were just hallucinating." I close my eyes to try and avoid his pityful eyes and hurtful words but I feel anger building inside me.
"You don't believe me." I say quietly, attempting to not freak out. "You think I'm lying, don't you?" I look at him for an explanation but he says nothing. He can't even look at me.

"You don't believe me." I mumble more to myself than to him. "I can't believe myself. I should have known better than to tell you. I actually thought we were in this together. I actually thought that if one person in this works would believe me, it would be you. I guess not." I get up and throw the note at him. I get on my bike but hugo grabs my arm.

"Lily! Stop it! It's not that I think you're lying, it's just, I was there, I would've seen it too. Plus, I was looking at you, there was no-"

"Shut up!" I hiss at him. "Get away from me, don't touch me!" I slap his arm of, get on my bike and pedal like my life depended on it. I reach his house. I see him heading towards me so I just leave my bike and helmet in a pile and sprint over to my house. Before he gets the chance to follow me, I slam the door, hopefully in his face.

I enter the house and run up the stairs to my room to prevent further discussion which my parents notice. I watch my favourite show The Vampire Diaries on my TV until my parents go to sleep. Both come in to tell me to sleep but I say to both that I simply can't sleep. At around 11:30pm they finally go to sleep. I wait am extra half hour to make sure they can't hear me which the sound of my dads snoring confirms and I turn off the TV, and pack my things. This time I actually pack the important things unlike on my last trip. I pack food, water, money and all other essentials and I stuff them in my red backpack which I use for school. I decide against leaving without a note so I quickly scribble something on a piece of paper I find on my desk.

I am going to a friend's house. Don't freak out. I'll be back soon. It's not like last time, I promise. Be back tommorow.
-Lily

Hopefully, I think to myself whilst tiptoeing down the stairs and closing the door silently. This time, I'll actually accomplish something. I hate feeling this useless.

Hey guys! So yeah, I have a few more chapters left and I'm done. To be honest, I don't even know if anyone is still reading this after so long because no one's commenting, so if you are reading this, please comment!
