Chapter 19

Lily's POV
As soon as she catches me looking at her actually awake, she sets the tray down and rushes over to my side. Sitting on the edge of my bed, she immediately pulls me into a tight hug.
"Oh thank God you're awake, thank god..."

I hear her mutter over and over again as she clutches onto me and starts sobbing silently. I instantly feel bad for leaving, mom never cries, I left without a word and with Hugo and albus & James gone too, she must've felt terrible.

"I thought you were in a coma or something, its been 2 days! Honey, don't ever leave like that again," I don't reply and hope she doesn't notice because its a promise I can't make. Thankfully, she continues and pulls me away slightly to look me in the eye in case I lie. "Did you find Hogwarts? Did you find out what happened to them?"

I think about telling her the truth, I mean who else could I tell or even trust this much? But then I quickly change my mind. We haven't actually found anything, we barely even made it to Hogwarts. When she speaks again, she makes me even more sure about keeping the truth.

"Hugo said you just fainted and nothing happened, I'm hoping you'll tell me the truth. What happened out there?"

As soon as she confirms that Hugo didnt tell her the truth, I realize I shouldn't then either. If Hugo didn't tell her then he was probably hoping I wouldnt either. Besides, what is there to tell? Either way, I need to speak to Hugo ASAP.

"No, we really didn't do anything. We didn't even get to Hogwarts." I say sadly, ignoring the guilt I feel.

"That's alright honey, but you know that you can tell me anything. I'm your mother and I need to know if you know something about the matter. You know I'm always here for you, right?" I nod and give her another hug before getting up- though very painful-, to go see dad.

"Where's dad, and Hugo?" I ask when we get to the living room.

"Your father is in his room, and Hugo left, he's at his house now. Which reminds me, he and Hermione & Ron will be pleased to see you up and well, they were very worried. As was your father, maybe you should go speak to him." Dad walks in as if directly on cue to ask mom where one of his suits were, when he sees me.

He comes over and picks me up, spins me, and sets me down, lowering on one knee, so he could see me well.

"You're up! How are you feeling? Do you remember anything? Do you need anything?" He starts asking a bunch of questions which I find rather amusing.

"Dad, I'm fine, I'm fine. It's alright. Why won't you guys believe me? Oh, and mom, we can call Aunt Hermione & uncle Ron & Hugo if you think they would be happy to see I'm better. Maybe we should let them know."

At their silence, I raise my head to look at them to see what's going on. They speak to each other through looks without me finding out but its obvious dad isn't pleased when mom says its a great idea and heads off to her room to fetch her phone since he throws his head back and groans. When he sees me looking he pretends nothing happened and grins. He probably thinks I'm going to run off again. I'm not even sure if I'm staying, I need to talk with Hugo first. I stay quiet and go and watch TV trying to ignore the never-ending thoughts and 'what-if's' in my head unsuccessfully.

Hey guys! Okay so, my new phone is here and I'm able to write again, however, i still do have a lot of homework. And i took so long to update because i was on my grad trip without wifi. I will update every week. Every 2 MAX. Thank you to whoever is still reading this and can tolerate me and my damn homework schedule and phones. So what is Hugo going to say? What will Lily find out?
