CH 18 Poppy field

PART TWO

( Third p.o.v )

Wrath awakened early in the morning to check on Calypso. Percy was very worried for the demi titan even though he withdrew the poison. He snuck out of the room leaving Thalia to peacefully continue sleeping. Percy thought it was best to let her sleep in after taking care of Calypso in battle yesterday. Percy was proud of Thalia as well as Calypso for coming so far. Wrath made sure no one was up as he made it down to the med bay.

Percy knocked at the door to see if maybe she woke up. Not getting an answer he gently opened the door to peek inside. Calypso laid peacefully in the med bay bed snoring lightly. Percy stepped into the room to inspect the monitors she was hooked up to. Everything read that she was in the clear so he put a new bag of ambrosia to help recharge her energy. Percy departed to go wake up the others after making the swap.

( Wrath's p.o.v )

Quickly making my way up the steps to wake everybody up yesterday's mishap continues to play in my head. They all need to get stronger I thought to myself for their own sake. Knocking for about a minute the couple got up with a scowl but it differed when I mentioned there was important information. As they got prepared for the day Thalia was the last on my list to wake. Walking into our room she didn't even stir a bit so I had to jerk her awake.

Thalia jumped up from me shaking her a bit too hard. She glared at me which made me smirk a little before she punched my arm. "Ow, what was that for?" She shook her head at me, "You know damn well what that was for? How's Calypso doing? Is she okay yet?" I held up my hand to calm her down," She is fine my love. Her energy should be regenerating as we speak I gave her some ambrosia." Thalia got to get ready as well now that she had her answer.

Thalia was brushing her teeth when she asked what the plan was for the day. "Wait till we meet at the table with the others. I don't want to repeat myself twice." She spits some toothpaste paste out, "Okay Perce."
"You know I never thought this day would come." She turned to look at me after wiping her mouth clean," What day baby?" A smile reached my lips," The day you call me baby. You were breathing taking from the moment I had laid eyes on you. The problem was you loved Luke only to turn to the hunt avoiding the first great prophecy." Thalia frowned at the information," I had no idea you felt like that. Frankly, for a moment, I was captivated by your sea-green eyes. Deliberately I did nothing knowing Annabeth had a crush on you anyone with eyes could see you two liked each other. Plus my feeling for Luke was intenser until I comprehend that he betrayed me. Then everything happened so rapidly I destroyed my likelihood to be with you for good. Plus Annabeth looked  like the end game for you." I pulled her in for a hug," It was all worth it to have the women I love at my side now."

Downstairs we meet with the other two for a talk. "If your hungry there's cereal. We need to discuss some matters before proceeding forward into the field." "I'm assuming Leo and I will have to submit to the sins," Annabeth spoke. "Yes, Thalia and Calypso have my blessing so they won't have to submit their soul. There are other things to discuss as well." They quitely waited for me to speak so I did," Greed and Envy got some information but we've never heard of the name before. I figured maybe two people at most would maybe know that name. Your one of the two Annabeth so does the name Athos ring any bells?" Leo looked like he was gonna make a sneaky remark but Annabeth hushed him with her hand. "They only thing I can think of is the mountain named Athos but I'm sure if it's some old being my mother might know something about it." Nodding to her answer I began texting Shabina to ask Athena about the name we got from the giants.

"Who were you texting?" Annabeth inquired. "Your sister since she is the only kid from Athena we have saved so far. She'll be able to ask your mother about the name." She gave me a face clearly displaying her hate for the younger girl. "Now the last thing I wanted to go over was that there was an old monsters lurking under the poppy field but I'm sure the others have taken care of it by now. So just take precautions when walking out in the field. Thalia let's go get Calypso ready." Not letting the couple say anything Thalia lead me to Cal so we could prepare her for the field.
