CH 1 Birth Of Greed

( Third p.o.v flashback )

Everything happened so fast. Percy realized he wasn't going to be the hero here. He handed Luke the dagger watching as Luke took his own life to save his family. Luke felt his soul split from Kronos as his soul went to the Underworld. He was quickly escorted to be judged, he thought he was going to the fields of punishment. Before they judged him they showed him what was going on up top.

He saw Percy as well as many others on Olympus. The gods were giving the heroes gifts. He grinned when they offered Percy godhood. His jaw dropped as he denied the offer. He saw as Zeus got mad at the rejection and even more so as he asked for two wishes. Luke was incredibly happy with the wishes he made but even more so as Percy declared Luke the hero of this war. They cut the scene to look at the young hero, he cried when they said Elysium.

As soon as he stepped into Elysium he was greeted by his old friends Charles and Selena. He was introduced to Bianca and Zoe who was a bit unsure of meeting Luke again. They became fast friends as they all watched over Percy grow older.

One day the youngest hunter disappeared and was nowhere to be found. The next week went the oldest of the group Zoe who went missing. Then finally the couple disappeared so Luke went to search for his missing friends.
Then one night Luke was captured by an unknown figure taken out paradise.

Luke panicked as he struggled to get his hands free. I need to get this bag off my head Luke thought. Grunting he busted the rope around his hands taking off the bag. Luke's jaw dropped as no other than Zeus stood in front of him. "What are you doing Zeus? Where are my friends?" He chuckled at me, "They're where all of you belong, in hell." Luke realized how they were at the pits entrance. "Why we've all been declared heroes?" Zeus frowned, "There's no way I'd let traitors, a titans daughter, and the daughter of my brother stay in a place like that. Beside heroes never have a happy ending." A tear fell down Luke's face as Zeus pushed Luke into the pit.

( Greed's p.o.v )

I woke from my slumber dripping with sweat. I loath Zeus with a passion, the others have changed a lot but Zeus was something special. I noticed Leo fell asleep on his watch duty so I decided to prank him. I ransack his money then concealed his weapon. Guess I'll check around, for now, I thought to summon scout. "Hello boy go pick on Leo it's about time to get up anyways I'm going to check if the coast is clear." Scout nipped my legs before going to pick on Leo. I walked around slowly since I didn't know what could be around us. As I finished looking I heard a yell or two of surprise. I chuckled as I walked up to the three boys. "It's not funny Greed he could have killed me," Leo whined. "Well if you had stayed up during your watch you would've know he was here." "Of course you fell asleep lazy ass," Nico said.

This made Leo jump up," Want to go Death Breath?" Nico glared furiously as the ground shook making numerous hell hound bones emitted from the pit. Leo was unprepared because I hid his weapon, Leo looked as white as Nico.
"No one calls me that but him and you know that. So drop it or next time they'll tear you up a bit," Nico raged. I shook my head," I don't know what's going on but we need to move. We are still a bit on the wolves' territory. Plus the way we're going is gonna be pretty hard to face." "What are you talking about?" Leo asked. I smiled," I'm talking about the Battle Grounds."

"What's the Battle Grounds?" Nico said bemused. "It's an all-out battle royal. It was made to help finance Tartarus and Nyx. As you know its hard to leave out of Tartarus. But if you beat this battle royale of sorts it gets you a free ticket of sorts. Winning gets you a wish that's reasonable," I explained. "Why are we going that way?" asked Hunter. "Well now that you asked it's the only way to get safe passage to Nyx's palace. Her territory is super deadly. This way we guaranty our safety." They all nodded at my answer getting up to hike some more. I hope Wrath isn't having too hard of a time I thought to myself.
