CH 11 Serpent's Sin Of Envy

Camp half-blood was thriving but they knew they still didn't have enough numbers. Shabina along with Athena finally convinced the camp and Zeus to talk to New Rome. After two failed attempts Zeus went as himself in Jupiters form of course to strike a deal. Jupiter told them about the prophecy as well as the son of Poseidon possibly being alive. The Roman's did there thing conveying amongst themselves and the Senate. It took a whole day of deciding but they came to an accommodation. The Senate would allow the aid only if the boy who helped save them twice was to come and ask for the help himself.

Zeus came back with the news disappointing some of the campers, mostly Jason. Athena and her cabin continued to make all types of strategies. Some included the Romans most just relied on the Greeks. But the one thing they were for sure hoping was that they would soon attain a message from the deadliest sin him Wrath. Shabina told everyone he'll text if needed since she didn't want to annoy him with questions. This of course didn't make the camp trust him too much but in the end, it was about if they trusted the camp or not.

This is just great I thought. Wrath already mind message me about disappearing when I could. He wanted them to fight this one completely alone until absolutely necessary. He told me if the girls and boys can't handle this that will need to intensify their training. But on another note holy Hades Envy is outdoing herself for real. I can't see shit but from the growls, we heard I sure her guardians are some big ass cats. I fucking hate cats. Thanks to my A.D.H.D I was gonna continue my ranting about the cats but Wrath was literally dragging me by my collar. I tried swatting at him but it was no use. Damn you and your man's hands I thought to myself.

He finally dropped me on my ass like a child. "What the hell was that for Wrath?" He silenced me before making a small amount of fog clear up. "Wow, how'd you do that. Envy said the Fates told her not even Zeus or Poseidon could clear this." Wrath made that duh looking face," I'm like literally probably the strongest person on this planet. Plus I'm Poseidon's son." "True. I ask some dumb stuff." Wrath nodded consenting with me. "Anyway pay attention the group is about to fight the guards. They're very beautiful by the way." Together we silently watched them get circled by six giant cats.

The group couldn't see the cats but we could. None of them were of the same species. She had a white Lion, Panther, Cougar, Cheetah, Leopard, and a Tiger.
Wrath was right about them being beautiful too. I'd never seen rare cats like these. I wonder where she found them all. They closed in on the group the lion was the first to strike. It clawed the shit out of Leo's leg. "Fuck whatever it is they have some sharp ass claws, " he whined. "Maybe they're some type of cat, " Hunter suggested. "I doubt some giant cats live down here, " Annabeth dismissed the idea. Just then the leopard bites right into her left leg causing her to drop her dagger. "I'm sorry what was that about cats not being down here, " Thalia sassed. "Oh shut up and help. I dropped my dagger," Annabeth confessed. "I believe I found it," Gunter called out. We saw him slowly crouch down to pick up the dagger he happened to step on. Once he handed it back the panther scratched Gunter's arm.

"Maybe this was a bad idea," Wrath mumbled to himself. "He's fine. We can't always come to save them you know Wrath. It hurts me just as much They're technically my brothers." Wrath nodded," Your right. Sorry." I patted his back," No worries just relax and watch." Two cats struck at the same time resulting in Nico getting sliced on his side. "I hate to say this but we need to surround the demigods. Will reform if anything but they won't and we need them," Thalia shouted. "What are you trying to say?" Annabeth asked. "The boys will pick them off one by one as we surround them as a human shield. They're great hunters so I know they can do it." "If I die I'll kick your ass when I get back," Annabeth replied. Soon we watched as they formed the human shield. They continuously circled them as they had their bows out ready to shoot. "Leo use your fire maybe it will scare them a bit," Annabeth demanded. He did as his lovely girlfriend asked him too.
