Hunter registered as Greed told him to he waited patiently at the bottom of the stands. He saw Tartarus coming down after his talk with Greed. "Are you ready young one? Would you like to know what I'm planning for your fight?" Tartarus asked him. Hunter told him no that he'll wait as he wanted no advantage. Back at camp, everyone watched taking bets as Hunter went down. The group of children who considered him family freaked as they thought he would get beat.

Shabina and Lily wanted to try helping by combining their blessing to send to Hunter. Before that could happen though Wrath came to stop them. The Fates told him to go prevent it before they get hurt. Even though Wrath made it on time but Lily still got hurt as she chose to defend Wrath from Lord Zeus's bolt. After Wrath everything got settled he said goodbye to the kids saying he'd be back soon.

The camp and kids now sat watching the screen having faith in Hunter to make it through. Lord Tartarus appeared on the screen to discuss the next battle. He told everyone that not enough people signed up so the battle would be the last man standing. He told the contents that they would combat wave after waves of hell hounds. You could still slay each other but then you would carry their responsibility of hell hounds as well. He wished everyone luck as he began the count down.

( Hunter's p.o.v )

When he said one I was ready. I had my armor and dual swords out. I spun them in my hands as the hounds made their way to us. You could see there were only about ten per person right now. I decided to meet them halfway to strike. I made a last-minute decision as the lead hound leaped for me I slid underneath cutting up its entire belly. It burst into gold dust after it perished. Thank the gods I thought but that's probably why they'll keep coming in waves. I felt one try to claw my chest but the armor stopped. The hounds circled me as I stared them down. I heard Tartarus announced some cyclops already took down another contender obtaining him twice the amount of hounds. I sliced my way through five more hounds trying to get a glimpse at the others.

I saw that none of the others advanced to me they just watched me struggle to take on these hell hounds. I took a scratch to the back as I obviously lost focus to check on the others. The pain brought me to my knees one tried coming in for a taste but my sword went down straight into its head. I got back up trying to think of what my dad would do. As I kept my guard up I felt the ground beneath my shoes. It was sand like I thought as the Hermes signature smirk appeared on my face. I instantly dropped down with my swords, I spun in circles. I made a huge dust cloud over my opponents so they couldn't see. I quickly finished off the rest of my wave before the dust had settled.

The big screen had another count down going for the next wave. It showed the number of hounds for each participant. There were five of us still with twenty hounds a piece. As the hounds were released I put my swords in their sheaths so I could use my bow. I held my hand out in a fist making my bow appear. I pulled the cord back as if I was firing two arrows instead of one. I thought of using extraordinarily toxin point arrows. Slowly the hounds went down two at a time until the last five hounds were to close in range for my bow. I drew my sword as the bow vanished.

The first hound pretty much leaped right onto my sword blowing up into gold dust. The remaining four circled me so I made the first move. I charged at one punching it in the nose which made it sneeze. As it sneezed I took my sword to make a stabbing motion to kill the hound that tried to sneak up behind me. As it went poof into gold dust I turned my attention back to the sneezing hound. I gave him another punch to the face before following up with a slash in its neck.  The last to charged together effectively hurting my right arm. As I managed to block one from biting me the other managed to get my left wrist. I kicked the one I blocked back as quickly stabbed the one biting me. I groaned in discomfort as it was pretty deep. When the last hound tried striking me I gave a good kick to the face before my sword went through its head. I tore a part of my shirt off to tie around my bite mark.
