( Third p.o.v )

The fire howled all night as the two species bonded together for the first time ever. The Alpha Hound and the young Alpha wolf both agreed to their high Alpha Wrath's ideas. Wrath asked them to gather up all their members and to wait for him to come back and get them. He promised peace as long as they cooperated with one another.

Later that night the young Alpha Dave explained how the mating worked. He told Wrath that the mates are very special. "Losing one could be the worst thing in the world but some times believe it or the moon goddess unknowingly grants us a second chance mate." Wrath took Dave's words to heart. Wrath spent the rest of the night close to Calypso trying to hold off on his instincts. When everyone finally turned in for the night Wrath held Calypso close thinking about how she meant everything to him and much more now.

( Wrath's p.o.v )

Keeping Calypso close felt more tremendous than it felt before. I knew it was because she's my mate but I just can't explain this feeling of pure bliss. This was probably one of my most valuable things to me now. I've been up for ten minutes now just holding her as she sleeps I didn't want to wake her. "You know its rude to watch. Mate or not," Calypso yawned. Her voice brought a grin to my face," I'm sorry love I just didn't want to wake you. How's your neck feel?" She freed herself from my grasp to stretch," Never better. Will you change back for me? I want to see the man I fell for the first time." I sat up for her to see me better, slowly I let my tan come back and my hair changed back to black. She gently held my face as her brown eyes met mine. I smiled as I changed them back into my beautiful sea green color. "They don't have that mischievous look but they're brighter than before," she spoke softly. "All because of you my love. I haven't felt this happy in a long time." Knock...knock. "Are you guys up yet. I want to leave already," Annabeth groaned from the other side. I frowned, "There goes my mood." Calypso chuckled as she slapped my chest playfully.

We were now standing outside the tent. After showering with Calypso fighting back my instincts. I changed back into my sin form and put my hoodie on. I told Gunter to shrink the tent while I finished up with Alpha Dave. I walked outside the cave knowing he was out there by following his scent. "Good morning Dave how are you?" He continued looking for any threats unfazed by me. " It still doesn't feel real right now," he sighed. "I know the feeling but that just lets me know you'll be a good leader. Did you pick a Beta yet?" I asked. He nodded at me," I'm gonna give the Delta a chance. If not then the wolves will fight for it like we traditionally do things." I shook my head in agreement," Sounds good by me. This is where I must leave you though till later." I grabbed his hand together we shook hands like real men. "Till later then Alpha Wrath. The King and I will await your return." I smiled at him as I met up with the others now. He waved us off as Calypso and Gunter shouted their goodbyes to the Alpha.

We were at least a mile away by now when Calypso piped up. "I think you made a great choice. We might not have gotten to know him completely but he seemed great." I raised an eyebrow, "Should I be envious dear?" She shook her head no while Gunter started snickering at us. "What's so funny boy?" I ask in a mean playful manner. "Uh...I was jus...I just thought it was kinda cute and funny at how you were playing around," Gunter stammered abit. It was my turn to chuckle," I just messing with you son." Gunter sulked while Calypso laughed at him as well. "Not you too Calypso. You should be on my side," Gunter wept. Annabeth interpreted us," Hey do you guys mind still cursed here." Calypso rolled her eyes while I scoffed. I was about to counter when Thalia finally spoke up," Maybe for once we should listen to her. We don't know what's out there and it's only gonna get nastier as we close into our destination." I kinda just glanced at her for a moment, we meet eyes but she hastily looked at the floor. I huffed silently to myself then turned to Gunter. I motioned for him to talk to Thalia for me. He nodded slowly making his way next to her as we now walked in silence.
