                 Optimus was going over procautions and expectations with Soldier. He told him that since he was blind for the time being, he couldn't go on any mission. The lack of voice wasn't that much of a factor into missions. Soldier told Optimus with signing that he's not going to let the autobots keep him at base and that he still wasn't with any team, but whenever Optimus brought up the past experiences including Wheeljack, Soldier always hesitated to come up with a counter argument. "You need to stay here. For all we know, you could be captured by a con who ambushed you and your teammates couldn't rescue you because you couldn't shout out and reveal your location to them." Optimus reasons. Soldier sighs. He;

brings his index digit off of his dermas in a wave,

points to himself again,

drops his fists,

makes a door handle turning motion,

and points to himself again.

                      "(I'm pretty sure I can handle myself)" Optimus took a second "Including the sign language. Since you don't know proper sign language, You can't really explain something, the best thing to do is send a message but even that takes time to process." Soldier groans "Why can't................ Ratchet fix me....... Already." He voices. Ratchet answers "Your voicebox needs to heal for a few days before I can fix it. It's too damaged for physical touch, and best if you don't speak." Soldier sighs and nods in understanding.

                              Optimus goes back to him once again "And why did you push Wheeljack away? He shows devotion to you." Soldier didn't quite know what he meant by the word. He then realized that he was trying to explain their friendship without any emotional words. Soldier looks away and then taps his palm, bringing up a hologram of Megatron. Optimus asks "What does he have to do with this?" Soldier keeps his gaze away. Optimus then registers it and responds "Did he say something about your correlation?" Soldier shrugs and tilts a flatened servo back and forth "(Kinda)" Optimus declares "Soldier, I am also your father. You do not only have to listen to what Megatron says. I am accepting of the link between the 2 of you." Soldier looks down "There is a lot more that my devilish father said then just despising our relationship." He says in his head.
