We get back and Soundwave is put in restraints. As soon as he wakes up, he tries to get out but it was no use. Ratchet explains "Because we have the foresight to shield our new base, our captive will be unable to transmit his coordinates to the decepticon warship." "Nor in turn will they be able to pinpoint his location." My dad adds. Jackie speaks up "Guess we have all the time in the world to make Mr. Personality tell us everything he knows."
My dad begins to ask him questions "Why is Megatron stealing human technology? What is he attempting to build?" Soundwave responds with a mixed up version of what Prime asked him
(Underline is higher pitch) "W-w-why is M-megatron stealing human t-technology? W-w-what is he attempting to build- t-t-to build?" Miko gasps "Woah! Optimus Prime the remix!" A smily face emoji appears on his screen to mock Prime and he steps back. Bulkhead then steps forward, ejecting his wrecking ball "Oh yeah? Why don't I wipe that smile right off his face?" I take out my katana "Not if I cut it off first." Optimus ignores us and goes on "Soundwave, we have treated you fairly. For the sake and the natives of this planet, tell us what Megatron is attempting to build, before we are forced to rely upon less civil methods of interrogation." Soundwave answers with a loud noise, making all of us cover our audio receptors.
Once it goes away, Ratch curses "Scrap this! Soundwave is no ordinary Cybertronian, inside or out. So I would strongly suggest opening him up so we can have a first hand look at what's on his drives." Red lines of text then appear on Soundwave's face and Bulkhead cheers "Alright, he's downloading data!!" Doc bot corrects "No!! Soundwave is ERASING data."
The mech then sits up and says "Soundwave Superior, Autobots Inferior." I step back and Prime holds me behind him, like a protective parent. To be honest, I was terrified at what he just did and sounded like. He then crashes his drives and goes into stasis. Bulkhead asks "Is he...." Ratchet responds "His vital signs remain functional. It seems he has simply severed all communications by crashing his own drives...."
A few tens of minutes later, fowler calls saying that he needed to go back to some barbecue or something. My dad says "Rest assured. Should our prisoner return online, we will resume our interrogation." I then ask "Fowler's going to a party? Lucky him." Optimus declares "That is a human saying. He's going into a tough conversation with a higher ranking officer." I raise my ridges and nod, accepting his explanation.
At night, Fowler calls in again for another con break in. Magnus then suggests on going with and Smokescreen begs Ratchet to let him. I growl and turn away, not wanting the sparkling shooter to come with.... I don't care if I'm the only one he shot, he still shot me as a sparkling. Prime tells Smoke and Bulk to stay with Soundwave. I suggest staying as well. Jackie looks to me "You sure, bud?" I look to Magnus and then back to Wheeljack. He quickly caught on "Alright. Be safe, bud." I nod "I will." They then go through and the bridge closes. Ratchet asks me "Why'd you stay? Your friend and father both left." I mutter "I'm not going near Ultra Magnus.... Especially if we're in a fight with the cons. Plus, it's safer here and you guys could use help if soundless breaks out."
