Ran and Boo

this was my first idea for a fic i'm working on. enjoy :D

Ranboo was adopted into the family around a year ago. Phil found him in the rain one day and brought him home. Wilbur was more closed off when it came to Ranboo, Tommy was suspicious at first but came around eventually, Techno was... Techno. After the first few days of staying with them during the seemingly endless rain Phil asked Ranboo if he wanted to live with the small family. He adopted him months later.

Ranboo was close with them but he kept telling himself- Ran kept telling Boo that they shouldn't split in front of them. They didn't want to be abandoned.

Now Ranboo laid in his bed bored. Tommy and Wilbur went out to do something and Phil left to go on some adventure. He wasn't quite sure what Techno was doing or where he was.

"I'm booooorrrrreeeedddd. Then let's get some food. But I'm not hungry. Yes we are, dont lie to me when we're together. Fine." He stood up and walked into the kitchen looking for something to eat. "Creeper cereal?" He grabbed the box and a bowl. "This would go faster if we- no no. We can't risk Techno seeing. He's not home. He might be."

After getting the cereal and checking around the house seeing the piglin hybrid not there he went back to his room. After eating he put the empty bowl on his desk and laid back on the bed.

"Wanna play Uno or something? Yes!" There was a faint green and red glow before Boo toppled into Ran's lap. They laughed before getting off the bed and looking for a game to play. They eventually settled on some board game they had under the bed.

"Why is Ranboo so tall?"

"Enderman~" Boo laughed and shook his head.

"You're short for an enderman." Ran looked at him offended before laughing. "You're more giggly than usual. Are you on drugs?"

"No"

Techno walked into the house after being in skyblock farming potatoes for hours. He heard laughing from upstairs and started going up the stairs.

"Tommy? Is that you and Tubbo?" The laughing stopped and he looked around. A glow came from the crack under Ranboo's door. "Ranboo? You in here?" He opened the door and saw the half enderman sitting on his bed with his laptop opened. A board game was discarded on the floor, obviously someone rage quit. Techno looked at the boy suspicious that something happened while he was gone.

"You okay Ranboo?"

"Yep. I uhm- I'm just talking with someone."

"Okay..." He closed the door and walked downstairs.

Wilbur and Tommy got home after another hour or so, arguing. They started trying to explain their disagreement to Techno but only ended up talking over each other. The voices saying "E" did not help Techno's growing headache.

Wilbur noticed his twin becoming very frustrated and covered Tommy's mouth. The blond was about to bite his hand when he saw Techno glaring at him.

"We'll just go ask Ranboo." They ran up the stairs and away from their angry brother. "Hey Ranboo can you hel-"

"You can't do that. It's in the rules."

"Since when do we care about rules?"

"Since forever." Two whispering voices came from beyond the door. They didn't sound like anyone Wilbur or Tommy knew but they somehow recognized it.

Tommy opened the door and saw two people sitting on Ranboo's bed playing go fish. One of them noticed and hid behind the other. It looked like an enderman but smaller and more human. The other turned around and stared at them in fear.

"Fuck."

"Where's Ranboo?" Tommy asked "And who the hell are you guys?"

"Okay calm down please Tommy. I can explain."

"How the fuck do you know his name?" Wilbur stood in front of his brother protectively.

"Hey please calm down I don't need him panicking. Just let me explain."

Downstairs Techno ignored the voices until he heard one of them shout something.

"What's wrong with them?"

He stood up and ran up the stairs. He pushed through Wilbur and Tommy pulling out his sword and pointing it at the two.

The enderman thing held onto the other burying his face in his cloak.

"No please. Give us a minute to explain! Ran...you okay to show them?" He nodded his head. "Okay." He took a breath and the two started glowing. Techno kept the sword pointed at them while Wilbur stood in front of Tommy. The light settled into a faint purple and Ranboo sat there covering his head.

He slowly lifted his head to look at their shocked and confused expressions. He slightly waved at them.

"Hi... sorry. We didn't want you to meet us like this."

"Ranboo?" Tommy slowly stepped forward.

"Ran and Boo. I'm sorry we didn't tell you guys sooner... if you're going to kick us out just do it." Techno lowered his sword seeing him- them- whatever scared. Tommy sat in front of them and smiled.

"Wait you're telling me I actually have two more siblings? That's poggers."

"You're not mad?"

"Why would I be mad! This is so cool! Can I tell Tubbo? He's gonna be so jealous that I have the coolest siblings."

"Hey!" Wilbur and Techno shouted in unison. "Anyways, Ranboo, why would we throw you out? Believe it or not but this isn't exactly the weirdest thing we've found out about one of our siblings." Wilbur laughed.

"Really?"

"Why don't we just go downstairs and talk about this. We'll let you explain."

So they did. Techno made drinks while Ranboo explained what they could remember about what happened. He explained Ran and Boo. Tommy quickly decided Ran was his favorite sibling.

"So...what about pronouns? Sorry if that's rude but you're more than one person from what I'm understanding." Ranboo thought about it. Neither of them had actually thought about it before. When they were first found fused as Ranboo people used he/him. There was never really a problem with it, they honestly didnt care what people called them because neither of them had a gender.

"It doesn't matter. But they/them sounds nice. Please only in private though."

"Of course. You gonna show Phil when he gets back or...?" Techno placed a cup in front of them and sat down.

"I think we'll wait. Thank you."

"Okay enough sappy shit! C'mon!" Tommy jumped up and grabbed their hand bringing them up to his room to call Tubbo. They agreed to tell Tubbo but didn't think Tommy was this excited.

They laughed when Tubbo tried figuring it out after showing it to him.

A few weeks later they got up the courage to tell Phil, who apparently already knew. News to them.
