Merry Christmas Techno

Technoblade is not someone that celebrates many holidays. This applies to Christmas. Don't get him wrong, he respects people that celebrate the holiday and doesn't actually have anything against it so he never talks down on the holiday. He was just someone that didn't actively celebrate. He didn't decorate his house, he didn't buy much Christmas themed clothes, and he didn't talk up the idea of someone breaking into his house to leave wrapped gifts and leave. Despite all of this he'll still buy a tree, he'll still buy and wrap gifts, and he'll still watch the Christmas marathons on TV.

Because Tommy likes Christmas. Tommy wants to decorate a tree, and help wrap gifts for their family, and likes watching Christmas movies. Tommy likes Christmas. He doesn't believe in Santa or any other immortal holiday beings and he knows of the actual background to the traditions and he knows the man at the mall is being paid to have random kids tell him what they want. That's fine. Neither of then ever trusted mall Santa's anyway. But as long as Tommy wants to decorate and wrap gifts and watch Christmas movies then Techno will continue to buy trees and gifts and watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Sure their house isn't the most lit up or decorated or festive but that was how they liked it. Neither of them cared about looking or acting as festive as their neighbors or like the Millers down the street. The Millers are assholes anyway. The small family had their own way of being festive and they were happy with it. But for the last few years it seemed that they were becoming more and more stressed around Christmas time (whether due to December ad revenue or other things) and overall the holiday season was becoming less enjoyable. Techno hadn't seemed to notice. Tommy did. Tommy noticed how much more distant his dad was this year. But he had a plan.

"Dad..." Techno hummed and turned to see his son in the doorway. "Are you gonna be busy on Christmas?" Techno was confused now. Of course he wouldn't be busy on Christmas. Sure, maybe before he adopted Tommy all those years ago he would've probably looked for an escuse to avoid the holiday but after the adoption he would make sure his schedule was clear on the 24th and 25th.

"Of course not. You love Christmas. And my siblings are excited for our visit." Tommy smiled and nodded.

"One more thing. I need to do more gift shopping, can I borrow the car?" Techno rolled his eyes and nodded. He grabbed the keys from the desk drawer and tossed them to Tommy. The teenager thanked him and hurried to leave. He did remember to give Tommy a curfew about an hour later but that wasn't important.

Over the next week leading up to Christmas they returned to their normal December schedules. They went out to buy a new tree and some gifts for their family (and snacks for movie marathons). Tommy focused on finishing his "Best Of" while Techno arranged meetings and appointments for the next month or so.

They visited Techno's family on Christmas Eve but Tommy seemed strangely distracted. Distracted enough to let Techno's sisters beat him in Mario Party. He guessed it might be holiday nerves or a video not going how he wants it to but ultimately decided to ignore it. The kid would talk about it if he wanted to. They went back to their house after dinner and Tommy hurried to his room. Techno frowned in confusion and set up all three Santa Claus movies before checking on his son. It was a tradition they had since Tommy's first Christmas with him and one of the traditions he actually enjoyed.

He knocked on the blonds door and waited for a response. Tommy opened it and smiled. Technoblade looked at him confused but brushed it off as they went to watch the trilogy of Scott Calvin. Tommy ended up falling asleep after they started the third movie. Techno carried his son to the kids room before cleaning up and going to his own room to sleep.

The next morning he woke up and chose to grab cereal and eat it from the box. Sure Tommy might be upset he's eating all of the cinnamon toast crunch but they're rich. They can buy more. It's his fault for not waking up earlier. If he wants cinnamon toast crunch from the box he should learn to wake up before 11am. Using the knowledge that he has better sleeping habits than his son to fuel him, he started watching the princess bride. To those of you that say that isn't a Christmas movie, fuck you, he's a sucker for a happy ending.

"Dad! I'm going out! I'm taking the car! I'll be back soon!" He turned in time to see the door close and hear his car start. What the... okay?

Tommy wasn't home for another few hours. Techno was starting to get worried. He messaged his son a few times and tried calling him. Tommy was never the type to go completely radio silent. He always told Techno where he was going. Sure he was a teenager and sometimes chose to ignore his rules but this definitely wasn't some random teenage rebellion. And he took the car. Some Christmas this is. He shouldn't be worrying over his kid during the holidays. But what if he crashes or gets kidnapped. Tommy was never the safest person. Is this Techno's punishment for not being stricter on his rules?

This kid is definitely grounded when he gets home, Techno decided then and there. No amount of bribery will give him back the years of his life that were taken off during these hours. Techno started planning how he would punish the kid. He cant take away the internet, they both needed that. Maybe he could just take away the car privileges.

"I'm home! Sorry I didn't tell you where I was going but this needed to be a suprise and you're probably very rightfully mad at me but I needed to pick up one last present and-"

"You stole my car and went completely radio silent for a present?"

"Uhm... two presents?" As if that made it any better.

"Mhm." Tommy fidgeted under his gaze and awkwardly smiled. "And where are these presents?" The blond ran back out telling his dad to stay inside and cover his eyes. Techno sighed and obliged. He'd give the kid some hope for a fighting chance. He heard some shuffling and the door closing. These presents either have to be immortality, gold bars, or Philza Minecraft himself for Technoblade to be able to forgive Tommy.

"Okay, you can look." He dropped his hands and cursed himself. Shit, guess he has to forgive Tommy now. Philza Minecraft and Wilbur Soot stood in his livingroom with bows on their heads (Wilbur actually having several covering his face) holding their own presents.

"Merry Christmas Techno!" He looked between his son and their friends.

"You're lucky I like you, kid." He cleared his throat and looked at his friends. He put his hands on his face and faked a suprised voice. "I can't believe it, my favorite streamers are in my livingroom. To what do I owe our subtwitter exploding?"

"It's Christmas bitch! I'm your present." Wilbur smiled and tossed the wrapped box in his hands to Tommy. "That's for you Toms." The brunet leaned into Technoblade's side and smiled.

"Wow, this is the best present ever, thank you Will-I-Am Goo-old."

"I know your accent throws it off but it's William, William."

"Hey mate, good to see you again."

"Hi Phil."

They continued joking around while Tommy handed them the presents he got each of them and opening the presents he received. It was a nice suprise, Techno could admit that, but he would still have to talk to Tommy about how many years we're taken off his life because of him. He did explain that he talked to the doctors a week before to make sure it was safe to meet people and the british did take many tests before and after their flight. It was good to finally have an answer as to why his son was acting strange.

Technoblade just tweeted:
the old man from the park is back. he brought his kids. plz help, they broke into my house [image attached]

The picture was Tommy, Wilbur, and Phil sitting in front of the tree with wrapping paper surrounding him. Tommy and Phil look like they're talking. Wilbur has a few bows in his hair and is staring at the camera with a blank expression.

It's a picture of Wilbur standing behind them. Techno has his back turned while he sits on a sofa, Phil is sitting next to him hut turned to smile at Wilbur, and Tommy is showing off one of his gifts. Wilbur has a blank expression and still has a bow in his hair.

They all enjoyed reading the replies whether it be from friends or fans. Techno decided he liked Christmas a little more.
